After school...
"How far away do you live?" Chris asked. "Not that far" I replied "it's just a few blocks from here.
"If you want i'll walk you home" He offered kindly. "sure" I answered.
We walked for a few minutes until we got to my house."Here we are" I said already tired of walking. "Okay well i'll see you later" he said walking home.
The school serves really disgusting food that i never eat so I went straight to the kitchen to grab something to eat.
I grabbed a bag of ramen noodles. As I was putting them in the bowl my dad walked in.
"How was school today?" He asked "make any new friends?". "It was good. I made one friend" I replied.
"That's good" He said putting his keys up. Once my noodles were done I went to my room.
After I was done eating did my homework and went to bed. I was worn out.
Morning...
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I quickly turned it off and got ready.
When I got down the stairs everyone loudly shouted happy birthday. Only after that did I realize that I had almost completely forgot my birthday.
Anyways it doesn't really matter I probably won't celebrate anyway.
I got to school and tried to walk to class as fast as I could so that I wouldn't be noticed.
Finally I got in class and I immediately took a seat.
When school was over I walked home thinking about how Chris wasn't there today. I hope he's okay.
My mom, dad, and an unknown man were waiting for me when I got home. Mom patted the seat next to her. "what's going on" i questioned. "Sweetie, your father and I think that it's time for you to know the truth" she said...
