Lady Irene's new old friend

I made a mistake

From the moment I opened my eyes I instantly regretted going to the tavern. I woke up in my room I had a note on my bed side table all did was glance at that paper and I broke down crying I can't take it I've hid my emotions for to long and this made me crack. I was so stupid why did I go to the tavern, Why didn't I go back to Aron and the kids why did I drink that much, Why am I so stupid. I ran my hands through my hair "Calm down calm down Irene would never let you do this yes think of Irene she will never let you cry*sniffle*I can't show weakness hold or in" I whisper to my self I herd a knock at my door I open the door and I saw Aron holding the back  of some weird man's shirt "Blue I saw this man walk out of your room got something you want to tell me" he said I got confused then I remember that face att he tavern "Oh it's that guy I met at the tavern listen I can't remember what his name is I had way to much root beer wait oh this is bad" I say he is dead to me "I'm Zane" he said oh that's why Aron is all up tight this morning for a second I thought he was my first dress too tight "Well we can't kill him if that's what you thinking arrowhead he has guards that will see us killing him and even if we did where would we hide him"I say "what gau-"I cut Zane off by covering his mouth with my hand "sorry sir" I say I put my hand on his head and pull out the memory of me and him I only kept us at the tavern and walking to here when I finished he was knocked out "I got some supplies oh and never mention this day agin please" I say walking to the chest where I've placed the apples, medicine and my book. "You got it blue" he said as I hand him half the apples I put the medicine in my bag it wasn't dig enough to fit all the apples wait I still have Shad's root beer I hand them to Aron "here I'm not taking a chance of that happening agin just don't drink it was Shad's I stole it whilst he was sleeping" I told him and we left the inn wow I haven't eaten in a while I'm hungry I toke an apple and started to eat "where are the kids" I asked "I gave them a Bow and some arrows and I told them to hit the tree" he said I smirk "Wow arrowhead is giving children arrows surprising" I tested he looked at me frustrated "Oh come on I'm teasing you get used to it" I say nudging his arm "oh I have" he said we walked to our camp and there were bandits of course this would happen and the kids are surrounded by them I look  at Aron who already had his sword drown I draw my sword and Aron and I fight the bandits when they were dead we look at them "Are you hurt" he asked I said something completely different "We need to teach you guys how to use a sword" i say with excitement Aron looks at me "Really that's what your worried about" he practically yelled "if they were hurt they would have been crying or telling us there hurt" I yell back "fine after we go to a new place were not safe anymore and well you know what else" he said I nod in agreement
