"Miyoung-ah! Wait up!"
Okay, this is definitely getting annoying.
I hastened my pace, ignoring Kyungsoo's pleads.
Isn't it obvious that I don't like him getting close to me? The fake polite smiles, the awkwardness, the moment I left him yesterday without saying goodbye, the date he saw last night, the threatening look earlier... Damn! Is he blind?
I passed through the crowd with bumps in the shoulders, a push from here and there, and a thousand excuse me's before I reached the stairway that led to the second floor of the building where my second class for ths day would be held.
I panted in relief. I had successfully avoided him! I wanted to do a mini-dance but people were all around me, and I had just heard a faint call of my name.
I went up as fast as I can.
Kyungsoo, please, just leave me alone.

"Unnieeeee~~~ mianhada," Hanri said while they hugged me.
I just smiled at their sweetness and cuteness.
My second and last class for today had just ended, and I went to the bubble tea shop right after, just like what I'd do everyday with the triplets. It was something I had been used to do, so I was somewhat surprised when the three looked at me in shock.
They flocked to me and in a split second they were squeezing me already. I was puzzled at first, but then I remembered our exchange of words yesterday.
I patted their backs and they let go, regret written all over their faces.
"It's okay. I'm sorry too, it was too selfish of me to yell at you guys like that. I knew you did it because you were concerned about me," I looked down, feeling the same as what they were feeling right now.
"Y-you're not mad?" Haeseo asked.
"Of course not. Why would I be mad at my sisters?"
Their faces brightened up at the last word.
"Awww, Miyoung-ah, we're so lucky to have you," they hugged me again.
After a few seconds, they let go of me one by one.
"Ish, we're getting sappy." Hyojin snorted. She pointed to the other people in the shop that were giving us curious glances. I laughed at her comment because it was, indeed, true.
"Yah, we need some drama in our lives too," Hanri argued.
"Okay," Haeseo suddenly clapped her hands. We turned to her. "Since everything's settled, it's Hyojin's treat today," she grinned.
Hyojin glared at her. "Yah, you're the rich one here!"
"Oh shut up, the three of you are princesses," I interjected.
It was true - while I had to maintain my grades to keep studying in the Seo Ji University, they pay the expensive as hell tuition fee here. Well, what can I say. It's one of the perks of being a rich kid. Kids, in their case. A bunch of bratty kids.
They glared at me the moment I said that, all of them looking the same. It's like seeing a real person with her two doppelgangers. I wonder how I can easily tell who's who and who's not who.
I let out a playful smile, hoping that they'll realize that I was just joking. They really don't like it when I point out their wealthiness.
They resumed to their argument after that.
"Hyojin unnie, please? I already spent all of my allowance, and I don't want another hour of nagging from Appa," Hanri gave her a puppy look. The latter rolled her eyes.
"Ugh. Fine."
"Yay!" I joined the two others' shout of victory. Well, who doesn't want a free bubble tea?
×××
"Miyoung-ah!" I paused in my tracks the moment I heard that person's voice.
And that person happened to be Do Kyung-freaking-soo.
I hissed inside my head. What does he want now?!
He stopped running in front of me and gave me a smile. I returned it with a scowl.
I was seriously not in the mood to be prim and proper to strangers like I always were.
However, he didn't notice my expression and began talking with his ears red.
"Uh, are you-- are you busy-- no, I mean would you go out with me-- I mean..." he bit his lower lip and chuckled, "uh, how should I put this?"
I just stared at him, giving him an uninterested look.
He didn't seem to notice that either.
Instead, he let out an almost inaudible shaky breath.
"Miyoung, can you--"
"No." I firmly answered, not even letting him finish what he was going to say.
I have a reason: it's because I don't care.
He then looked me in the eye with confusion but it softened when he realized my serious expression.
I sighed. Man, it's really hard to be me.
"Look, Kyungsoo-- I know where this is leading, I'm not dumb enough to not know, so I'll be telling you this to not keep your hopes up."
Confusion once again came to him. He opened his mouth to speak, but I didn't let him go any further.
"I don't like you. I don't like anyone, Kyungsoo-ssi," I emphasized the formality.
I left his eyes and looked at the ground.
Ugh, this is so hard to say.
"I'm aromantic."
