Brothers

Chapter 1

    Marie sighed as she walked trough the alleyways bored. Since she didn't have a home, meant that she didn't go to school. No money to pay for school. She thought about the day she woke up to her parents gone and the note saying that she was an embarrassment to them and how they had to leave. With her mind going she didn't notice a group of four guys and she ran into one of them. She whimpered a little and fell to the ground.

"Hey, are you alright miss?"

She opened her eyes to look up to a guy with black hair, brown eyes and a blue bandana across his face. He held his hand out for her to grab and she took it, he pulled her up and smiled a little

"You should be more careful"

She nods and his smile faded. He knew something was different other than the eyes and hair and it bugged him slightly

"What's your name?"

She looked up at him being younger and shorter and spoke quietly as if she was a ghost.

"M-my name is Marie, may I know yours?"

Th guy smiled softly and nods.

"Yes, my name is Leonardo, but call me Leo"

He turned to his brothers as they all looked at her. He motioned to one with red hair like fire, Amber eyes, and a red bandana. He was about Leo's height but had more muscle.

"This is Raphael"
Raph: "call me Raph"

He then motioned to the one with long brown hair and reddish brown eyes and a purple bandana, he was taller then the group and wore glasses giving a nerdy feel to him

Leo: "this is Donatello"
Donnie: "you may call me Donnie or don, whatever feels right for you"

Lastly Leo motioned to the last one with blonde curly hair and baby blue eyes with a orange bandana. He had lots of freckles and grinned

Leo: "and lastly this is Michelangelo"
Mikey: "you can call me Mikey dudette"

Marie waved shyly at them and they smiled except Raph, he smirked. She looked down at her bare feet shyly and Donnie took notice frowning but didn't say anything.

Leo: " a girl like you shouldn't be in these alleys without someone you could get hurt or worse"
"O-ok, uh, I better get home......nice meeting you all"

She turned around and sprinted away. Donnie kept looking at her bare feet worried

Donnie: "guys, she didn't have shoes, you don't think she's homeless do you?"
Raph: "ya have a pint there don. Her clothes looked tight and small"
Leo: "I know but it's rude to point those out, we should follow her"
Mikey: "wow Leo, going stalking on a girl that bumped into you, so desperate"

Leo glared at Mikey as he smiled and Raph snickered. They then ran down the direction she went ending up at a old abandoned hotel. They all frowned as they saw her crawl through a broken window. They followed her making sure not to be seen or heard. They heard her cry and they slowly walked in a lit room. She sat on the bed curled up crying, the four hearts breaking slightly at the sight

Leo: "Marie...."

Her head shot up as her eyes were wide with shock seeing them. They stood in front of the bed sadness in their eyes watching her as she whipped her face with her sleeve.

"I-I can explain, I-I-"

Leo cut her off and sat next to her as she sniffles

Leo: "Marie, do you have a home other than here?"

She didn't do anything for a few moments then shook her head slowly. His expression saddened and he brought her close hugging her. He looked up at the other three and they all nod

Raph: "oi, how would ya like ta live with us"
Mikey: "yea! We'll be like your brothers!"

She looked up at all of them with a shocked expression. She couldn't believe that four guys older than her that she only just met were willing to take her in as family

"Y-you mean it?"
Donnie: "yes, we mean it"

The four hearts warmed as a smile formed on her face. They grin as she nods sniffling again. Raph walked over and picked her up.

Raph: "don't want cha hurtin yourself now with them bare feet of yours"

She gripped onto him as they walk out of the hotel, Raph carrying her to her new home
