After a loving sisterly hug, and blue chocolate pancakes, Kim had decided that the two of them should head to the park. I mean, Kim was as caring as she was childish, and it wasn't hard for her to see that Reyna was still on edge. Most people in the town would be heading to church now, including their parents, so the park was almost free and open for the two of them thankfully.
"No, no, I'll bring the football," said Reyna with a grin as she looked down at the rather smaller sister of hers. "I told you, I don't know how to play football, just soccer!" Replied Kim loudly, a confused tone in her voice as she looked right back up at Reyna. "Oh, yeah yeah! I meant soccer! Football's the one back were I'm from," explained Reyna now as Kim nodded in understanding.
If I hadn't made it clear, Reyna was born in Britain, and was now living in America with her adopted family.About half an hour later and the two had arrived at the park, Reyna with a happy smile on her face and Kim with the most childish of grins. "Can you push me on the swings? Pleeaaase?" Kim begged rather loudly, it being a shout more so as she ran for the empty swings; Reyna followed close behind her as, well, Kim tripped and fell more so then she could count. "'Course! Just get yourself comfy," was all that Reyna said about the subject of pushing her on the swings, helping Kim up onto it as she was struggling somehow.
"Are you ready, kids?"
"Aye aye, captain,"
"I can't hear you!"
"Aye aye, Captain!"
Once the small singing of the Spongebob theme song had resided, Kim was already being pushed as gently as possible, but as fast as Reyna could do so. Which was rather hard to balance out. Of course, Reyna didn't want to harm Kim at all, in anyway possible. What sister would want to do that? Well, a lot of people actually. But not as far as to kill them, surely. Haha... ha..."Higher, push me higher!" Laughed Kim as she held onto the chains of the swing tightly, trying her best not to fall off. "For God's sake, you can't go any higher!" Mumbled Reyna with a bit of a grin now as well. She would of gone into details as to why Kim couldn't go any higher, but she thought it was best to leave the kid alone for teachings today. When the swing had begun to slow down, and Reyna had caught her breathe, Kim hitched a ride on her back as they headed over to a grassy part of the practically empty park (apart from the old people, babies, toddlers and huge-ass dogs).
Rey had picked up the ball, which Kim was carrying as Reyna had no hands free. Y'know, due to carrying the smaller child on her back. It would risk her falling off. "... Do we have to play soccer?" Asked Kim curiously, having the ball tucked between her chin and Reyna's back, hands playing with her sisters naturally curly hair. "Nope, not if you don't want to," said Reyna in reply as she now began to walk away from the grassy area, strolling through the trees with Kim securely on her back.
"Rey-Rey, can we talk?" This was now asked by Kim, who had been put down quite a while ago, the ball having been given to a younger child as Kim now held an ice cream in her hand. "Mhm, sure," murmured Reyna in reply, as she held the free hand of Kim's. "So... you like boys and girls?" Questioned Kim with high curiosity, Reyna nodding in reply. "Ooo. Erm, erm, when did you know?"
"Dunno. I just did I guess. Why?"
"Just 'cause... eh, not really. 'Cause there's this girl in my class and erm..."
"And?"
"Well, erm, she's like, really really cute. And, erm, y'know how ya' like like someone?"
At this, Reyna smiled gently and nodded, Kim looking away a bit and sighing nervously.
"Yeah, well, erm, I think I like like her... Is that bad?"
Reyna now bent down and scooped Kim up in the mother bear of hugs, keeping her tight in her arms afterwards. "Pfft. It's not, not at all my lil' Kim-chi," replied Reyna as she placed a sisterly kiss on her forehead before allowing her to return to the floor. "So, what's her name?" Asked Reyna softly, smile not fading. "Her name's Charlie. Her favourite colour's pink and she loves puppies," Who the hell can't though?
"That's nice. Anything else about her?"
"Hm, hm... no- wait! Charlie was once a he, but the whole girl thing wasn't working out for her so she changed. I think it's cool,"
Upon hearing that, Reyna felt proud. She had a sister, who was ten years old, who accepted and loved pretty much everything under the Sun. Wouldn't you be proud of that? I know I bloody would. "And so do I,"It was drawing close to dinner time now, and since home wasn't far away, Kim had gone home with Reyna still walking around in the park. She was over joyed at the moment, and again, forgot about everything yesterday. Like it had all just disappeared entirely.
Well, that is, until a group of people (say four) had spotted Reyna heading to the exit of the park. They were snickering amongst themselves, making awful comments about her while exchanging dares to go up to her. "Hey, yo, Reyna!" Called one of them now, Reyna stopping in her tracks to glance back at the group of people. "What?" She shouted back, hand on her hip with a blank expression on her face now. "You're fucking disgusting, you know that?" The same one shouted back, Reyna shifting in her position, eyes widening slightly as she saw the group beginning to throw things, now running.
"Run, Forrest, run!"
