CHAPTER 2

She said, "There's a syringe which can transform a human into those kinds of creatures who will do anything their master asks them to do. Kind of very loyal to their master. It maybe something idiotic but it's actually true. As of my experience, they are gonna inject your brother too."

I stared at her blankly and asked, "What am I supposed to do now?"

"You gotta help him get out of here. What else are you supposed to do?" she said.

we hid near an arsenal so that we could got to her room. when we reached her room, she opened a closet full of W.G. outfits from a toddlers size to an adults

"why do you need these kinds f stuff?", i asked her.

"to get out of this darkness and to get to the world out there", she replied pointing to a door that was probably an exit. i smiled at the thought of leaving this hell-like place after getting my Kookie back. we reached a place where they kept innocent people to test their new inventions. we entered a long narrow tunnel that seems like never ending. this tunnel gave me strange feeling. there was an awkward silence between us. i tried to break it several times but end up failing. at last i gathered my courage and asked,"how long is this tunnel?". she gave me a blank look.

we both were tired from this long walk and decided to rest a bit. we sat on a huge stone.

"how great is it to have a family of your own?" she asked out of nowhere.

"its cool. wait, don't you have a family of your own?" I asked and the next moment it struck me the fact that  she didn't have a family of her own. "I..I'm sorry" was the only thing I could think of saying.

"no. it's okay", she said with a weak smile.

"let's get out of this tunnel as fast as we could", I said after a long silence trying to cheer her up.

we both started our never ending journey once again. after a few miles walk, I could see a gate that was guarded by two W.G. guards. we were stopped by those guards.
