Your birthday

  All alone. A war had started to happen between the reapers, the angels and the demons so you had been left all alone. Grell was fighting and probably winning with his chainsaw. The difference between how a demon and an angel fights compared to how a reaper fights is that reapers work in teams to make their offence and defense a lot higher. You are a human so they didn't think you had the ability to watch their backs, even if you had a loot of skill in fighting demons. Well anyway, today is your birthday and you are alone.

You stood up out of your bed and sighed looking at the picture of you and your boyfriend, Grell. He went away just after Christmas, and now it is July. The war is a big one and their is a lot of blood being spilled. How God must hate what his higher species are doing to each other. It must be hurting him to see demons, angels and reapers killing each other. It is hurting you to think that your friends are out there. What if any of them are dead? That would hurt you so much. The pain would be unbearable. The pain of waiting is unbearable now. Your not expecting them back soon but when you blow out the candles on the cake which you made, your wish will be for them to come home soon. That is the thing you want the most in the world, just to see your friends and your boyfriend again, unharmed, and no war to be going on. Is that too much to ask for. You put on the outfit which Grell loved seeing you in the most, a red dress that looked gorgeous on you.

You went down the stairs to your kitchen when you found a little present, their was a note attached, which had been posted through the door. You opened the present and inside was a little locket. You smiled and read the note. Dear (y/n), please let me in, it is getting cold out here. The note wasn't signed but you knew who it was from due to the red paper and red wrapping paper. You went to the front door and opened it. At that moment in time the biggest smile grew on your face. Grell was stood their, he had a few cuts and bruises but he was alright. A happy tear went into your eyes. Grell hugged you tightly.
"You came home, at the time when the world is about to die, you came home to me" You said happily.
"No (y/n), we won, the war ended today." Grell said, "All your friends are coming home." You were so shocked you were about to faint.
"Well now I dont know what to make my wish on" You giggled and snuggled up to Grell. You brought him inside and sat on the sofa cuddling up to him.
"On marrying me?" Grell said with a smirk.
"Is that a proposal?" You asked him.
"Maybe..." Grell said slyly.
"Well if it was, my answer is...."
