We got lectured when we got back home... Even though it wasn't really my fault. I mean Mao didn't have to slam the door so hard on my head that I lost consciousness and he could of woke me up...but that all happened because I punched... Anyway it wasn't completely my fault.
"Riku-san, Mao-kun breakfast is ready!" Mum shouted.
I got my bag and went down to the kitchen.
"Good morning Mum,' I say tiredly. At the same time, Mao came to the kitchen as well.
"Morning," Mao utters.
"Good morning you too," Mum replies.
We ate breakfast in silence, maybe because Mum was still angry at us.
"Thank you for the food," I say first. Mao glances at my plate.
"You haven't eaten it all..." Mao stares.
"I just don't feel hungry. I'm leaving first," I respond.
I put my plate in the sink and head out. Mao continually stared at me which it felt like he was worried or something... Just making me think that Mao cares about me makes me want to puke.I arrive to school meeting up with my friend, Shiemi, and we go to our locker to change our shoes.
"I'm so sorry about yesterday Chow-san," my friend continually apologizes.
I hit her on the head softly, "How many times do I have to tell you, it's fine. If you keep apologizing I'll hit you harder."
My friend pouts, "Okay."
We started to talk about the subjects that we were going to have today as we headed to class. Shiemi greeted her other friends, and went to go talk to them. I went to my seat and sat down.
I forgot... Why was Shiemi in that situation. Everyone loves Shiemi...no one would try to hurt her... I think...
"Okay, everyone to your seats, class is starting," the teacher calls.
I suddenly realized that those students weren't here today.
Hey those people that I punched yesterday are not in class yet. I wonder what happened to them? Does Mao have anything to do with this? The lunch bell went, and yet again, Shiemi went to sit with her other friends. I go up to the rooftop to eat my lunch.
Ahhhh. I feel so lonely without Shiemi. All the other girls won't go anywhere near me. Sighs~. I should be used to this feeling already, but it'll be nice if there would be someone here with me to eat my lunch with. *Click* Looks like someone else is here... AHHH!! I JUST HAD TO JINX MYSELF DIDN'T I?!?
Mao came out of the door, he looked at me and smiled. He sat right beside me.
"Does Miss Second Place have no friends? Aww, don't worry Mr First Place is here to cheer you up," Mao said mockingly.
"Out of all the places to eat lunch you come here," I say angrily.
Mao nodded very happily. The sight of him makes me sick. Sighs~ Well there's no helping it is there, I'll just let him be...And now that I think about it, he's never really called me by my actual name has he. I start pouting. B-but its not like I want him to call me by my name. If he did I would've puked... Eh... What is this feeling? It's... Like as if someone is staring at me... And the only one with me is Mao!
I quickly glance at Mao and it was true. Mao was staring at me. I look up at the sky.
"I-it looks like it's going to rain today and I didn't even bring an umbrella," I mumbled.
"Well it's your lucky day, Miss Second Place, because Mr First Place was very smart at predicting what the weather was going to be, I brought an umbrella just in case it rained. If it does we can share the umbrella when we walk home," Mao smirked.
"I'd rather jump off this building then share an umbrella with you," I said disgustedly.
Mao started to chuckle and looked up, "Look, its already started to rain."
He was correct the rain already started to come down. We went inside the building and waited for the end of lunch bell to go off.Looks like I'm going to have to run back home if the rain gets any harder, or I can go to Shiemi's house and wait until the rain gets less heavy. I wonder if Shiemi's free.
I look out the window and the rain gets heavier and heavier.
"You sure you don't want to share the umbrella?" Mao questioned. "If you get wet Mum is going to be angry at you. Ah, I know. I'll give you the umbrella and you can walk home with that right?"
I look at him with guilty eyes, "But then Mum is going to lecture you for getting wet. I don't need your sympathy."
Mao sighs, "Well then I'll tell Mum it's my fault that I got you wet," he mumbles.
Bell rings
"Well get going to class, or your teacher is going to be angry at you, Miss...Second...Place~," Mao mockingly says.
Without saying anything, I leave to go to my class as Mao goes to his as well.
But... Something bad happened when I reached to open my class's door. Everything turned black.
