The two of them had arrived infront of Tiffany's rented apartment. It was time say their final goodbyes to each other.
"Taetae.. I had fun today, really. Thank you so much." Tiffany smiled, but it was slightly weaker than most of her smiles that day.
"No no, thank you Tippany. Thank you for everything you've done until today." Taeyeon smiled, but her smile too was the weakest.
"Tippany.. I, uh, I have something to tell you. I hope you'll listen from the beginning till the end, and please, trust my words."
Tiffany nodded.
"E-Ever since we started this relationship contract of ours.. I've never felt this happy. Never Pany-ah, never. All those time I spent with those girls were fun, but never this happy. The first time I saw you, I was attracted but mostly, I felt challenged. When people told me this particular 'Tiffany Hwang' was hard to get, I felt the need to win your heart and show it to everyone how I am a person of everybody's choice. That was what I felt at the beginning Pany-ah, and I'm being honest right now. Over the past months where I tried to win your heart, I.. I knew I couldn't win it. I knew it so well until it came to a point where I don't want to win your heart anymore, instead, I wanna see you happy. I wanted to see your eye-smiles, your wide smile, your babbles. I wanted to see you almost every time, I wanted to be by your side. Each time in class, you would magically appear in my head. I don't know how you do that, Pany but you were in my mind almost every time. You were there so often that I thought I almost went crazy."
Taeyeon paused, she felt her eyes getting teary.
Tiffany had a sad expression on her face but she let Taeyeon continue her words.
"It was then I figured out every thing thanks to Sooyoung and Sunny. Did you know that I told them basically everything about you? Like how you made me felt things I've never felt, like how you made me smile by just being irritated on me.. it was almost ridiculous, but even by telling stories about you, I felt extremely happy. I could go on forever if I were to talk about you. Do you want to know why, why I felt these emotions on you Tippany?"
Tiffany nodded.
"Because for the first time in 19 years, I'm in love. I'm falling in love, and you happened to be the person who trapped me in it. I thought you were the one who would fell for me, but turns out, it happened completely on the opposite. I'm falling for you so freaking hard and it hurts. It hurts so much. I miss you every single night, and I don't know what's gonna happen starting tomorrow."
Then, Taeyeon felt her cheeks wet by her own tears. She was crying so hard that even Tiffany had tears in her own.
"I'm not hoping for a chance Tippany. I know a player like me, don't deserve someone like you. But allow me to tell you that I love you. I love you, so damn much Tippany. Thank you for staying with me although it was just under a stupid contract. Thank you for teaching me things I never thought I would learn. Thank you for making me the happiest girl over the 3 months and thank you, for letting me feel what's it's like to fall in love and be in love. Thank you for teaching me what love means, thank you for existing in my life. Tiffany Hwang Miyoung, I love you."
Taeyeon ended her speech and hugged Tiffany. Taeyeon was still crying badly, and she heard the other girl cried along.
"Please don't waste your tears for someone like me." Taeyeon kissed Tiffany's cheek.
They pulled away from each other and Taeyeon looked into Tiffany's eyes while she brushed Tiffany's strand of hair to the side.
"C-Can I kiss you?" Taeyeon asked carefully, not wanting Tiffany to completely block her away.
Tiffany could only nod as her answer.
Taeyeon leaned in slowly, afraid that Tiffany would back away. When she felt Tiffany remained still, she closed the remaining gap and kissed Tiffany firmly. It was just a simple, 6 seconds peck but Taeyeon had never felt that happy to kiss someone. It was a new feeling that Taeyeon had ever experienced.
"Thank you and please take care of yourself."
Taeyeon then turned and walked away.
But a voice stopped her from walking any further.
"Taeyeon, wait."
Tiffany held Taeyeon's wrist, firmly. She suddenly felt like she needed to tell Taeyeon what she and what she wanted. She was breaking her own rules, but if by breaking those rules could made Taeyeon smile again, she would rather risk it.
"Taeyeon.. What if I tell you that I want to give you a chance?"
Taeyeon smiled weakly, "A chance for what, Tiffany?"
Tiffany pulled Taeyeon towards her and held Taeyeon's face in her palms. She closed the gap between them for a peck on Taeyeon's lips.
"Another chance to make me fall for you."
Taeyeon, who was caught by surprise, leaned in to Tiffany's lips once more, hungry for the lips over and over again, "And how many months would you offer, Miss Hwang?"
"As many as you want."
It was enough to make Taeyeon kiss Tiffany passionately and happily. Taeyeon was smiling all the way through their kiss.
Taeyeon wrapped her arms on Tiffany's back while Tiffany still had her hands cupping Taeyeon's cheeks. They kissed, kissed and kissed until both of them pulled away.
Taeyeon leaned their foreheads together and asked Tiffany the question that Tiffany had been wanting to hear,
"Be my girlfriend for real and fall for me, Tiffany?"
Tiffany pecked Taeyeon's lips again and whispered slow, but loud enough to gave Taeyeon a one of a heck smile on her face,
"Yes, Kim Taeyeon."
