the deal

To say joy was nervous as she walked into the Sm building was an understatement. She had never really gotten in trouble or had any scandals before of course there were rumors here and there but all they were was rumors and she never got called into a meeting because of it. Her and her group had been doing very well not only on their albums and promotions but also on keeping their images clean and keeping their relationships hidden. There wasn't a band on dating for them but they were expected to keep their personal relationships a secret as to not cause any scandals and she had just revealed hers.

Once she got into the meeting room she scanned around to find men and women in business suits already in a heated discussion once she arrived the one who seemed to be in charge got up
"joy! Welcome" he said with a smile
"um hi?" She said confused at the warm welcome
"aww you look scared, well you know what don't be ok?" He said

"ok...?" She answered

"here have a seat we have much to discuss" joy sat down at the seat closest to her

"ok so joy first of all I should introduce myself I'm Jung hyun do head of PR here at Sm, you have a squeaky clean image so we haven't really gotten the chance to meet but look here you are!" He said excitedly

"here I am" joy replied un-enthused" the man continued

" i do want to say we are a little dissapointed in you for not telling anyone at the company about your relationship, if you had this would have been a lot easier" he started, joy looked down at her hands

"I'm sorry" the man shook his head

"don't be, really don't, because of this you seemed to have gained a lot more fans" joy looked up with surprise written all over her face

"huh?" The man laughed

"have you not read the articles and comments on them?" She shook her head

"well no I thought they would be a lot of negativity and I wanted to stay away as much as possible" she replied

"well of course there are those antis on there trying to ruin you in anyway they can but they have all basically been drowned out by the fans that support you guys!" Still a little surprised joy asked

"really?" The man nodded up and down

"yes really, we just talked to yook sungjae's agency and we both agreed to release a statement about your relationship confirming it... if that's OK with you?"

"Um sure I mean we can't really deny it can we" she replied the man burst into laughter

"no, no you really can't" after his laughter died down he cleared his throat

"well here is the plan, since there is so much positivity about you relationship we have decided to market you guys as the golden couple, you guys will be like the brangallena of the Korean industry we will get you commercial deals, drama deals duet deals all of that!" He said excitedly while joy looked down at her hands once more

"I don't know about that" she replied

"don't know about what" the man questioned

"I don't know if I want my relationship to be a market ploy we have worked hard keeping it a secret and I don't want my personal business put out there for the public to see" she replied, the man looked around the room at his colleagues who all seemed to share a look

"well we can't really move forward without your approval... here's the thing I know you might not see the benefit in it but I promise there is, just think about it you could go on dates in public without worrying constantly about being found out you can get more PR for your group and both you and sungjae can be together in what ever way you want and still gain the support of your fans, you will make a lot more... as long as we market this right" he repeated, she shook her head
