Two friends are sitting in English class listening to their teacher teach them. Noel is the name of one of them and Joe is the name of the other.
Noel is a fourteen year old girl. She has long blonde hair to her shoulders and violet eyes. A lot of the kids refer to her as a biological mistake. Today she is wearing a Star Wars designed t-shirt with dark blue shorts.
Joe is a thirteen year old boy. He has short brown hair and blue eyes. A lot of the kids refer to him as "the smart one" which annoys the heck out of him. Today he is wearing a white superman deigned t-shirt with khaki shorts.
"Your assignment for this week is to write a three paragraph essay on the Civil War," their teacher told them and then the bell rang. "Class is dismissed."
Joe and Noel packed up all of their belongings and then left class. They just walked outside when Joe stopped suddenly. Noel noticing that he stopped also stopped and turned around and faced him, her blonde hair blowing gently in the breeze.
"What is it," she asked Joe.
"A dark and stormy night..." Joe responded thinking.
Noel rolled her eyes at him, "Thinking of how to start another one of your stories," she inquired.
"Yeah," Joe answered her.
"A dark and stormy night," Noel said, "That's a classic way on how to start a story."
"I know," Joe told her.
"What's next after 'A dark and stormy night'," she asked.
"I don't know yet," Joe replied as he started to walk again still thinking.
Noel followed him. They both kept walking knowing they already missed the bus from Joe's dely. They walked into the school's courtyard and then Joe stopped once again.
"Aha! I got it," Joe said excitedly.
Noel once again faced him. "Ok, what is it?"
"It was a dark and stormy night in the city of Gotham, all except for one teenage kid was indoors," Joe answered as he set his backpack down, opened it up, took out a spiral bound notebook with a pen, sitting down on the soft grass and starting to write.
"It's going to be a Batman story," Noel asked him.
"Yeah," Joe told her.
Noel nodded and looked around the area noticing they weren't the only one's there. There was what looked like a teen that was walking towards them. As the teen got closer she gasped. The teen was a boy and his face was completely messed up. The boy had short dark brown hair and black eyes. There was what looked like a five of spades card stuck in his forehead with dry blood to his nose, then there was an eight of spades card stuck in the left side of his cheek dry blood all over that and to his mouth, there was also a two of spades card stuck in his face right next to his right eye also having dry blood around it. He wore a black shirt that had the wordings "I'm evil" and black pants.
"Please tell me that's just makeup," Noel told the boy when he arrived right behind Joe.
"No sadly," the boy answered her in a high pitched scary voice.
Noel looked down at Joe to see if he would look up and see the boy that was behind him. Unfortunately Joe kept writing in his spiral notebook. He seemed to have five paragraphs of his new story written in. Noel looked back up at the boy.
"What's your name," she asked him.
"Ebola," he answered her.
"Ebola," Noel asked herself aloud.
"Pretty cool name for a character right," Joe said and looked up at her smiling then looked back down at his writing.
"Uh...I guess? What is he the Joker's son," she asked Joe looking down at him but still keeping an eye on Ebola.
"DON'T SPEAK OF MY FATHER," Ebola shouted at her taking out what looked like a knife aiming it at her.
Noel jumped and tried to take two steps away from Ebola but stumbled and fell to the ground.
"Yeah. How'd you know? You haven't even read the first five paragraphs yet," Joe asked her not looking up and still writing in that notebook of his.
Noel brushed a strand of her blonde hair out of her face and looked up at Ebola keeping an eye on him. "By the way he looks," she answered Joe's question.
"By the way he looks," Joe asked confused and looked at her, "and why are you on the ground all of a sudden looking like you just saw a ghost?"
"JUST LOOK BEHIND YOU," Noel screamed at him.
Joe jumped at her screaming and then turned around. "Holy Cow," He said noticing Ebola. He jumped up from where he was sitting holding the notebook and pencil then looked back at Noel, "How'd he get here?"
"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW," Noel shouted.
"OK CALM YOUR SELF," He shouted back at her.
Noel took a deep shaky breath as Joe looked back at Ebola.
"How did you get here," Joe asked him.
"Ha! It's quite an interesting story I was walking around Gotham looking for Robin when all of a sudden I saw this nice sunny place and walked towards it and here I am," Ebola answered his question looking around and putting his knife away.
"How old are you," Noel asked Ebola.
"Seventeen," Ebola said after thinking for a minute.
"Wow that's sad," Noel muttered.
Ebola had his knife out and aiming at Noel for the second time that day. "You dare insult my age," he asked her.
"No! I-I was th-thinking of some-something else," Noel responded to his question stuttering and quickly backed away from him. "Maybe now is a good time to call Batman and Robin," she told Joe.
"Maybe you're right," Joe said nodding.
"So, what are you waiting for," Noel asked her friend.
"I'm trying to remember the last place I put them," He answered her.
"Well, this is going to take forever," Noel said as she stood up and dusted herself off.
Ebola snickered. "No wonder I couldn't find Robin he's not even in Gotham," he started, "Awe man, why didn't I blow up Gotham with some laughing gas when I had the chance?"
Both Noel and Joe stared at him with horror.
"What," Ebola asked them, "I've been planning on doing that for years now. Oh and by the way you both look really cute when you're freaked out."
"Thanks?"
"Ok I think I got it," Joe said thinking.
"Finally! Where are they," Noel asked him.
Joe looked at her and snickered. "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away," he started.
"Oh for goodness sakes," Noel said shaking her head but kept listening.
"Batman and Robin were on a planet called Radar talking with Anakin Skywalker," Joe finished, "There is that how you call Batman?"
Noel seeing a figure wearing all black walking towards them behind Joe, shook her head. "No you called Darth Vader instead."
As the figure got closer Noel was able to make out a black mask, an outfit with technology, and a black cape. She could also hear him breathing. "Definitely Darth Vader."
Joe turned around and looked at Dark Vader. "How is that possible though? I said Anakin Skywalker," Joe said turning back around and looking at Noel.
"Have you even watched Star Wars before? Everyone knows that Anakin Skywalker turns into Darth Vader," Noel told him as Darth Vader walked up to their conversation standing next to Noel.
"Ohh... So your Anakin Skywalker," Joe asked Darth Vader bringing him into the conversation.
"No," Darth Vader answered his question.
"Who are you then," Joe inquired.
"Darth Vader."
Noel face-palmed, "Is Luke Skywalker your son," she asked him.
"Yes," Darth Vader answered.
"So your Anakin Skywalker right," Joe asked him.
"No, I'm Darth Vader."
Ebola snickered, "I think that's about as far as you'll get with him."
"You may be right," Noel said as she took her backpack off of her back, got her lunch box out and searched through it. "Hey Darth, you want a donut?"
"Yum," Darth Vader said.
"All right here you go then," Noel said handing him a donut.
He took it from her and went to a table about ten feet behind her and began eating.
"Who made his character so dumb," Joe asked aloud thinking.
"Lego: Star Wars, but to be honest it's quite humorous," Noel answered his question.
"He wasn't here. He just made me confused," Joe told her.
"Maybe it would help if you watched Star Wars," Noel suggested to him.
"So now what are we going do," Joe asked her.
"Try to call Batman, Robin and now Luke Skywalker," Noel answered as she looked through her backpack.
"Looking through your backpack isn't going to help," Joe told her.
"It might," Noel responded.
"How," Joe asked.
"If I can find my art supplies," Noel said.
"Art? That's your answer," Joe said then shook his head.
"Well it's worth a shot," Noel told him as she brought out her art stuff starting to head to the table. "You coming?"
"I guess I don't have much of a choice do I," Joe asked himself staring at Ebola.
"Can I spray acid on you," Ebola asked him with an evil smile.
"No," Joe answered Ebola then followed Noel.
Noel sat down next to Darth Vader when she got to the table. She put her art supplies on the table and opened up her sketch book to a new page. Noel next grabbed her pencil and started drawing a scene.
Ebola put his knife away as he came up to the table. He sat down across from Darth Vader and Noel. When Joe came up to the table he did the same thing.
"So now what are we going to do," Joe asked as he watched Noel draw the scene.
"I eat donut," Darth Vader responded.
Joe looked at Darth Vader, "Good for you. How is it?"
"Yum," Darth Vader said.
"Ok then...any other ideas," Joe asked looking at Ebola.
"Hmmm..." Ebola said thinking, "We could possibly blow your city up with some laughing gas."
"No!" Joe declared, "Why am I asking villains anyway?"
"I don't know," Darth Vader and Ebola told him at the same time.
"Ok I'm done," Noel said as she put her pencil away.
Everyone looked at the scene that she drew. The scene had the Batman call light in the sky, Robin and Batman fighting with Ebola on the ground; and Luke Skywalker talking with Darth Vader.
"Wow that's a very good and detailed sketch Noel," Joe told her.
"Thanks," Noel told him smiling.
Ebola snickered, "You think that's really going to get Batman and Robin here? Good Luck!" he said to her then started laughing. Ebola laughed so hard that fell off of the bench he was sitting on.
"Hey look there he is," a voice shouted from behind Joe.
Joe turned around and Noel looked and smiled. There were two people behind Joe. One person was dressed up in all black wearing a black mask in the shape of a bat and the other was wearing a dark green short sleeved shirt with a red vest on top that, and black pants. He had a green mask.
Joe looked down at Ebola, "You were saying?"
Ebola glared back up at Joe and growled at him.
"It worked," Noel said happily.
"What worked," Robin asked her as he walked up to the table.
"Calling you and Batman," Noel told him.
"What about Darth Vader," Batman asked.
"I eat donut," Darth Vader answered staring up at Batman.
Robin snickered, "I love this guy why can't we ever fight him?"
"Because you live in Gotham City and he lives in a galaxy far, far away," Noel answered, "And as you can tell he's not that big of a problem."
"He's satisfied enough with the donut but we did call Luke Skywalker," Joe told them.
"Alright Ebola are you ready to go back to your home," Batman asked.
"No and I'm not going home without a fight," Ebola said standing up from laying on the ground.
"We figured you'd say that," Batman said, "Robin would you like to do the honors?"
"Gladly," Robin said as he took a device out of his pocket and threw it at Ebola.
The device exploded and Ebola, Batman, and Robin were suddenly gone.
"That was fast," Noel said, "Now all we're waiting for is Darth Vader."
"You want to know what would be really funny," Joe asked Noel and Darth Vader.
"What?"
"If Luke Skywalker came falling out of the sky like Thor," Joe answered.
"Wishful thinking," Noel told him.
All of a sudden a human came falling out of the sky like Thor. The human was a guy. He had short blonde hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing a tan work out shirt and a black coat.
"Called it," Joe said to Noel and snickered.
"Whatever," she responded and rolled her eyes at him.
"How's everything going," Luke asked the two.
"Fine, your dad's satisfied with a donut," Joe said and looked at Darth Vader who was still eating the donut, "I'm actually surprised that he hasn't finished it yet."
"What does a donut even taste like," Luke asked.
"Yum," Darth Vader answered.
"Your dad just pretty much summed it up," Noel said and laughed.
"Interesting," Luke said, "Dad are you ready to come home?'
"Yes," Darth Vader said and stood up walking over to Luke.
"Ok on the count of three jump," Luke told him, "One, two, and three."
They both jumped up into the air then disappeared. Noel and Joe looked at each other. Then Noel picked up her bag and put it on her back. They both started walking home.
"I'm going to miss him," Noel said.
"Miss who," Joe asked her.
"Darth Vader," she answered.
"Well something tells me that he'll be back for more donuts," Joe told her.
The two both laughed and kept walking on home.
