Wafting from the kitchen below
The smell of cake began to flow
Up to every room, under every door
Till everyone's senses wanted more
The hurried tread of pounding feet
Led them to the room where they all did meet
And gathered 'round for the luscious treat
A glorious cake that no other sweet can beat
