A Goodbye Full Of Promises

My Angel

"What? I can't believe my eyes! What are you doing here? I told you to stay away, didn't I?"

Those were the words that a girl said to a boy.
The girl had white long, straight hair, eyes like the ocean in summer, she was puny and not that tall. In contrast, to the girl the boy had black straight hair, crimson eyes, he was very tall and well built.
Practically there isn't anything special about them, they seem just like normal people. But if you take a better look at them you will notice that both of them have wings on their backs and the boy has a pair of horns between his hair. The girl's wings were white and smooth while the boys were black as his horns.
They were standing in a garden near a forest at night. The girl was chained with black chains that seemed to hurt her from the stretching of her arms. Even though she wasn't complaining.

"I know that you told me to stay away, but I just couldn't. I can't bare the fact that because of me you are going to be executed" said the boy while getting closer to the
chained girl.

"I told you to stay away because I thought that I could get to hate you. But I wasn't capable, my love for you is much stronger" said the girl
while crying.

The boy kissed her on the lips and whipped away her tears.

"I can't stay away from you, only the thought of living in a world that you doesn't exist is driving me crazy. I want to live with you forever. It isn't fair. Just because you are a common angel and I'm Lucifer's son that you only are taking the blame of this forbidden love upon your shoulders" said the boy.

"It's ok. I took the blame because I wanted to, no one forced me to do that" said the girl in a sweet voice.
The sun started to rise.

"It's almost time. I don't want to let you die without doing anything. It's so frustrating to know that the person you love is going to die and you are going to live" said the boy with a shaking voice.

"Before your dad's guards come to pick me up, I have a favor that I want to ask you" said the girl.

"Tell me whatever you want, I will do it" said the boy.

"I would like to ask you to..............to kill me" said the girl with a trembling voice.

"What, are you crazy?! I would never do such thing!" shouted the
boy.

"I know that this request is crazy but, I would rather die right now, by your hand and be happy to get to see for the last time the face of the person that I love, than dying from some strangers hand and get to see for the last time the satisfied smile on your father's face" said the girl with a calm voice.

"Please, anything but not this. Don't ask me to kill the only person who ever loved me" said the with a begging voice.

"I am begging you, please hurry, before they come" said the girl.
The boy seeing her determined face closed his eyes and started crying. He withdraw his blade and look at the girl.

"It's ok. You don't have to worry. But please promise me that you're not going to take your life after you've killed me. I want you to keep on living for both of us. Because I want you on the day, that you'll become the king to make sure that no one else will have to suffer like we did" said the girl.

"Ok, I promise. But I want you to promise me too that you'll wait and keep a place for me wherever you are"said the boy.

The girl nodded with a bittersweet smile on her face while watching him in the eyes. The same eyes that made her fall so deeply in love and that will make her fall all over again if it's needed.
The boy while watching her in the eyes and hugging her, perforated her body straight to the heart so that she will feel no more pain than she already has endured.
She gave her last breath trying to say that she loved him.
"I love you too" whispered the boy while realizing her lifeless body from the chains that had lost power.
He then hugged her even tighter that before, sat on the ground and caressed her cheek.
At that moment, the whole nature and animals started singing a special song. The wind caressed her body sweetly and all the forest's animals came to say goodbye to the angel that had no sins, except that she fell in love with the wrong demon. But it can't be helped, even though she knew who I was she still fell in love with me because that angel could only see in someone his good side. Even if that someone was me, the personification of evil. That's right that angel found something good even inside me. That angel
