Chapter 3

"Hey guys." I smiled as we walked over to them.

I haven't been to the movies in so long. But we all decided that we would go see 'Ride Along 2'. Jacob paid for my ticket,then we grabbed some snacks and waited for the others.

Jacob is really sweet.But us dating I honestly don't see happening.I haven't dated anyone ever since my dad started beating me, I just don't trust anyone really or I don't want them that close to me. If that makes sense.

We handed the guy our tickets then headed to theater 3,since thats where the movie would be playing at.

After the movies we ended up going to Applebee's.

"Let me try it." Trevon said.

"Boy you got your own food coming." I laughed as he took a bite of my food.

"Thanks."He smiled.

I laughed and started eating some of my own food.

"So Jacob I heard you play basketball."Trevon said.

Jacob nodded."Yeah, I do."

"So you plan on making varsity."Trevon said.

"Yeah.I played Varsity at my old school."He said.

"Alright, well tryouts are in 2 weeks."Trevon said.

Jacob nodded and we all started eating our food.The night was a night to remember.

"Thanks for tonight guys, it was fun." I said as we walked out the theaters.

"Tomorrow we having a huge cookout.Ya'll coming right?"Trevon asked.

We all nodded.We said our goodbyes then I walked over to my car with Jacob.We parked near each other so he walked me to my car.

"We should hang out sometime." He said.

"We do all the time Jacob." I said as I unlocked my car door.

"I mean just me and you."He said.

I nodded."We'll see."

He chuckled."Okay,drive safe Nicole."

"You too," I said as I waved bye to him.

I slipped into my car and pulled out of the parking lot then drove home.I needed to get more clothes and I needed to get my school stuff. Hopefully he isn't awake.

I pulled into the drive way and parked. I turned off my car and walked up to the front door. I opened the door slowly and closed it.I then headed upstairs, trying to be quiet as possible. I opened my door and went into my room,grabbing the items I needed.

I grabbed my book bag and my cheer bag. I closed my door and locked it shut.

"And where do you think your going?" He asked.
