~Chapter 19~

I woke up in a hospital bed.Of course. I look over to find the familiar faces of Zoey,my mom, and my dad. This should be great.

"Dad, i can explain."

"No Stephanie! I told you this Connor boy is no good for you! You know what it feels like to not see my daughter in bed that morning when you ran away?! Do you know what it feels like to know that your in a hospital all the way in California from a front desk worker?!"My dad exclaimed.

Oh so he's complaining about things that I've done? As if he's done any better.

"Do you know what it feels like to get slapped by somebody I trusted all my life? Do you know what it feels like to keep secrets because your afraid to tell somebody and they'll judge you?"

"Stephanie we are leaving when you get out of the hospital and thats final!" he yells on his way out of the room.

I cant believe I have to leave back to Minnesota and Zoey and My mom did nothing about it. They ran to give me a hug and kept on saying that everything will be ok.

"Wheres Abi? Wheres Connor?"

"Hunny, you need to rest. Don't worry about them." My mom said completley ignoring my question.

"Answer me!! i need to know!"

"Steph, they're getting married." Zoey said in a hushed tone.

"What?!I'm on a hospital bed for one week and they get engaged?!"

I began to cry but nobody said a word.Why am i crying?! I'm the one that didn't dare speak to Connor! im the one who ignored him! Im the one who trusted both of them! but i could see that i was wrong. i trusted people who i shouldn't.

"Wheres Jc?And Ricky, Sam, and Kian?"

"They haven't come to visit you."

Omg. That cant be true. We were all like family. And Jc? why? I cried harder. if only i haven't ran into that forest! If only I didn't meet them. If only Zoey wouldn't have had to go to the airport that day, known of this would of ever happened.The worst part of all of this is I have to go back home.I have to go back to where this all started.
