~Chapter 1~

I looked at her eyes as she told me "You're Aphmau's old friend, from highschool."

I stared at her until I reognized whose blue eyes those belonged to

"W-Wait, KATELYN?!" i questioned

"That's right, Travis!" She replied

"Here follow me, I'll show you to your bedroom."

"I blinked a couple of times, and made sure I was looking correctly." I guess I spaced out

"This is your room!" She pointed at the white door

"You can unpack your things, I have to go out later in like an hour."

"So you're leaving me alone? In YOUR house?"

"Yeah, I trust you, It's only going to be a little stroll around the park with Jeffory."

"J-Jeffory?!"

"Yup!"

"I thought you hated him!"

"Yeah, we broke up in high school but in college we met back up and he asked me out, I said yes and we've been dating for some time! He told me we had to talk today."

"O-Oh, Have fun."

"Yeah, I'll try to!"

She ran out and grabbed her purse

I looked back at the room and saw all the space I had

"I better start decorating!"

I was almost asleep when I hear the door slam shut, and a vase break, I started to hear small sobs and got out of my bed

"Who's there?"

No one responded

I turned on the lights

And the light I saw before was gone..

"Katelyn! What happened? Are you ok?!"

"I'm not ok.. Jeffory..he..he broke up with me.."

"I'm sorry to hear that Katelyn, You'll be fine without him. He missed out on something great.."

"Thanks for saying that Travis, but.. This..-"

"Shh.. Go get some sleep. It's 1:oo A.M.."

"B-But-"

"No buts, You will get some sleep and if you need something else you can come knock in my bedroom, got it?"

I started walking away when I heard her say my name

"Travis wait."

"Yeah?"

"Thank you" she told me as the the light came back into her eyes

"Goodnight"

"Goodnight"
