Mailays POV:
*RING RING RING* I wake up to my alarm clock as I do every morning. I take my time getting out of bed so I can prepare for the day and hopefully avoid my bullies today. I go downstairs to eat breakfast. And yet again nobody is home so I'm alone again with no ride. So I pull out my iPhone and call Daniel.
*Phone Call: D=Daniel, M=Mailay*
D: hey Mai what's up.
M: hey Danny. So my parents aren't home again and you know how I broke my penny board. So can I PWEASEEE get a ride to school?
D: sure Mai. I'll be there in 20 minutes. Be ready or I'm leaving you.
M: YAYYY thanks Danny. I will be ready. I'm gonna go get ready bye bye.
D: bye bye mai
*Phone Call Over*
I go upstairs and get ready for school. I do my makeup first so I don't mess up my clothes. I apply:
•concealer
•foundation
•eyeliner
•mascara
•eyeshadow
•eye primer
After I finish my makeup I walk up to my small closet and pick out some clothes. I decide to wear an arm brace to hide my cuts because I want to wear a short sleeve shirt today. So I decide on some blue printed shorts to match the shirt. (Picture above.) I walk down the stairs and look at the time. I have about 3 minutes before Daniel arrives.
Daniels POV:
I got a call for Mai asking if I could pick her up and take her to school. I would never sent her because she's like my little sister. And I don't like her being alone. I don't know why...but I just don't. So I left my house and I'm driving there. When I pull into Mai's driveway I see a group of boys walking towards her house. Farther away then I am but I'm out numbered.
Mailays POV:
I saw Daniel pull up so I run outside. Only to see my bullies meters away from me. I run to Daniels car and hop in as fast as I can. I look at Daniel and he has a worried look on his face. All I can manage to say is, "drive. Drive fast and drive now."
*skip car ride*
•still recent POV as before•
We pull up to school and I get out of Daniels car without talking to him one bit. I keep walking. I walk as fast as I can away from him so I don't have to explain. But he grabs my wrist and says, "Mailya Gabriella Dayjeon you need to explain to me what the crap just happened right there. And I need an answer right now." I looked off. And started to cry...
