~Abby's pov~
I took my phone out and Tried to text Zach.
~Messages~
A: hey can you talk?
Z: ya whats up?
A: what are we gonna do?
Z: what do you wanna do?
A: Zach I think we should stop whatever is happening between us.

A: zach our parents obviously aren't happy with it and I just don't want to do this right now

A: Zach😩 don't put me in that position! You know I really like you.
Z: obviously not enough to stay with me
A: your literally doing this right now

I put my phone down and got up. I put on my shoes and grabbed my phone. I walked downstairs and saw my Dad on the couch. "Where are you going?" He asked. "Mario's" i replied and walked out the door. Mario is one of my best friends. He lives kind of far from MY house so I don't see him on a daily basis. Once my uber came I gave him Mario's address. Once we got to his house i got out and knocked on the door. Cat opened the door and I smiled. "Hey Cat!" I said leaning in for a hug. "Hey Ab!" She smiled. "Mario's in his room" she said letting me in. I went to his room and knocked on the door. "Who is it?" He asked. "The best person in the world." I replied. "BEST FRIEND!" He yelled and opened the door. "Hey marihoe!" I smiled and hugged him. He let me in and lead me to his room. "What's up? We haven't hung out in a while!" He said. "Not much just boy trouble" i rolled my eyes. "Yikes. What happened?" Mario asked. "Do you remember Austin?" I asked. "Yeah? That other less cool best friend of yours!" Mario said and I laughed. "Yeah him. Well he kissed me blah blah blah. My dad is getting married to someone and my soon to be step brother is hot as hell and we sort of maybe kissed. Like a lot and my dad caught us and when I told my almost step brother I didn't want to be the reason our parents didn't get married he basically got mad" i sighed. "Well he's an asshole and he should understand that it's the right thing to do. And if he doesn't see it that way he doesn't deserve you! So fuck him! No, don't fuck him. Fuck me. Just kidding. Not really" mario joked. "Im glad I came here" i laughed. "That's what im for!" He smiled. "I gotta go before my Dad freaks out. But you better text me more or I'll kill you in your sleep!" I said. "Ok!" He laughed as I left his house. I got to my house and my dad was still on the couch. "Hi dad" I said and walked past him and went to the kitchen. I was reaching for a glass when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I harshly elbowed the person behind me and turned around to see Zach in pain. "What the fuck was that for!" He said. "Don't touch me" i said and went to the living room. "Dad can I go back to our real house!" I whined. "Abby we're selling the house and moving in here" he said. "I can't stay in this house!" I said. "And why not?" He asked. "Because I can't live here with Zach!" I said. "Oh first your all up in his face now you can't even look at him!" He said. "Dad I don't even like him anymore. But I think he still likes me. I can't live with my stepbrother knowing he might have a crush on me!" I said. "Wait if you don't like him then who do you like?" He asked. "Someone does it matter?" I rolled my eyes. "Is it that Mario kid? Oh he's a great guy. You should go out with him instead of your step brother" my dad said. "Dad!" I said frustrated and went to the backyard. "Who's Mario?" I heard. I turned around and Zach stood there mad. "Does it matter?" I asked. "Yes it does!" He said. "He's just a friend" I rolled my eyes. "Your literally moving on that quick! What the fuck is wrong with you" Zach said and I was instantly thrown back at his words. "You know what honestly fuck you! Your nothing but a selfish and shallow asshole! I can't believe I actually liked you" i yelled. "Ooo! Shots fired!" I heard Mario's voice.
