There's a reason why they'd rather hold their phone more than they touch you. There's a reason why they'd rather stare at a screen instead of looking you in the eye. There's a reason why they're no longer available, mentally checking out on you. There's something or someone in that little handheld device that has become more important than you are. Understand this and slowly but surely, move on.
