The Final Destination

Chapter 1: Just getting started...

Okay, I know that this is my 9th book I'm doing, but I wanted to do it because I love "Final Destination" by MollyButt (: that book is amazing! So, thanks for the idea. And I also want to say that I love the Final Destination series. They are amazing! I love the third one(: the one with Mary Elizabeth Winstead♥ so anyway, enjoy the book!!♥ (btw, it's gonna have 10 chapters, just saying...)

~ Elizabeth's P.O.V ~

"Hurry up El!" I said, Eleanor Davis was my friend. She was about to go, but she immediately stopped in front of a mirror; fixing her hair. You are probably wondering why she stopping in front of a mirror... She's getting ready for the prom at our school in Maryland. Her date was David Russ. As for me, my name was Elizabeth Moore. Lizard was my nickname my father gave me when I was little, but no one calls me that anymore. My brown hair all curly, I had natural curly hair, my hair was in ringettes. Eleanor's was blonde too, but I understand her concept of having her blonde hair in the right place for the homecoming picture for the yearbook. My other friends were at prom or either in the limo waiting for us. I bet Drew was eating for me too... He doesn't like it when El is always checking herself in the mirror. But I got use to it, because you know; were girls... She finally fixed herself up and headed out the door, leaving me with the unlocked door. I locked the door and headed towards the limo.

"Wooooooooo!!!!!!" I heard Drew say out of the top of the limo window. I felt a light breeze hit my skin while I walked towards the limo. I adjusted the scarf, and got in the car.

~ At Prom ~

the music was blaring; my friends and I were having fun dancing under the disco ball. The song was from an artist that I didn't hear before. The lights flickered, but I guess I was the only one who noticed that. I slowly stopped smiling.

"Hey, uh. I'm just gonna go sit down for a bit." I told Drew and Bethany. Bethany was that kind of party girl that everyone wants. She's fun, bubbly, excited, and smiley. Drew was that kind of guy that every girl wants, but he was a player but he's my best friend. And I couldn't say no to him. We've been friends for not that long now. Same with Bethany, I've been friends with her since we were in diapers. But yeah, I'll explain my friends during the rest of the story soon.

First I got punch and sat down at a random free table. I felt a bit tipsy when I had that punch... I sniffed the punch and yes, it was spiked. I rolled my eyes; I just got zoned out for a bit and snapped back into reality. A few minutes later, the lights on the ceiling start to move and then the stars that are hanging.

Wait, the doors are closed when their weren't any people coming... This is an earthquake! A real earthquake on our prom! I was freaking out until a piece of metal fell and killed I think 7-10 people. Then everything fell in just 5 seconds. Wood and metal only held the gym. The rocks from the outside on the roof fell too; the disco ball fell and killed 12-14 people. I tried to run for them but the students were screaming and running heading towards the door.

Then all of a sudden, I fell and I couldn't get up. I tried but, then a piece of a metal box fell on both of my legs and I yelled out in pain. Once the earthquake stopped, I looked around me, I was the only one alive here in the gym, and the rest were dead. Even the ones who tried to get out of the gym... I cried out for help, but I couldn't do it. All of a sudden, a huge piece of metal was left and it above me. I tried to pull on my legs but it was no use. It couldn't budge. I tried multiple times and I kept looking up to see if it's almost close to falling on me. I was now fully crying and my eyes were burning from it.

Then I heard a creaking noise from above, it as the huge piece of metal. I opened my mouth, cried and screaming at the same time. It finally fell and boom!
