I stand there beside my aunt as I watch them forcefully shove my mother into the back of the police car.

She looks at me, and then my aunt.

"Take care of her for me", she mouthed through the tented window as the car drove away down the roads of Richmond, Virginia.

I look up at my aunt, seeing wet stains on her cheek.

"When will I see her again", I asked, not knowing what just happened. She sniffed, wiped her cheeks and looked down at me.

"Not for a very long time Sanaa."

Right then and there, that's when I knew that I would never see her again.

I woke up, seeing a short woman slightly shaking me.

"Ma'am, we've landed. Grab your things so we can get everyone evacuated."

I look at my surroundings, reminding myself that I was on a plane. I stretch and yawn, grabbing my suitcases and following everyone outside the plane and into the airport.

I stand still and look around. Baltimore, Baltimore. The airport was more crowded than I expected. I stand there, not knowing where to go, until I looked up and saw a man holding a sign with my name on it. I walk up to him and give him a reassuring smile.

"Are you Ms. Sanaa Evans?"

I chuckle at how properly he said my name, and I nod my head.

"Can I take your suitcases for you ma'am?"

I raise my eyebrow in confusion, because no one has ever told me that in a respectful way, but I cover it up with a smile. "Sure, no problem", I said. He grabs my bags and leads me the way to our destination. We stop in front of a limo, and my mouth opens in awe. As he puts my bags in the trunk, i just sit there and stare at the limo in amazement.

"Never rode in one before huh?" He knocks me out of my trance, and I gave him a slight smile. He opens my door for me, and I get in and admire my surroundings. Leather seats, sunroof. I never knew I could ever experience these things in reality. I look out the window as the limo drives off in the town of Baltimore.

Everyone was busy, they were either going to work, or either in a rush to go somewhere. About 10 minutes later, we pull up to a house on a hill.

The house was so pretty, I had to ask the driver were we at our right destination

"Umm, are you sure that we're at the right place?" He chuckles, turning off the engine.
