DICE WITH DEATH

Chapter 1:

"Lucy?.."
isang kalmadong boses ang narinig ko galing sa likuran na sya namang kinagulat ko.

mula sa study table, pinunit ko ang isang pahina ng papel at tinapon ito sa maliit na basurahan sa gilid ko.

"ba-bakit?"

"gusto ko lang sabihin sayo na, tumawag ang childhood friend ko si Elizabeth..they want to meet you ,"

"so what now love?"
I asked.while putting my arms around his waist.
"..I set our dinner on a restaurant .. with them"
he answered , while planting a kiss on my lips.

"ok just wait for me downstair ..I'll dressed up.
I whisper while tickling him.
he just smile.. looks excited about tonights event.

"All is Well"
I told myself while looking at the mirror.. seeing myself dressed up to the nines ,
"I never dress like this before."
I totally changed.

before going out the room I glance at the mirror again..
" ..I am perfectly beautiful" ; with my red fitted dress and black flats which perfectly match my black bag.

matapos kong ma-satisfy , nag decide n kong bumaba ..
naabutan ko 'don si Ken, kausap si Mommy .. obviously ngayon pa lang nya 'ko ipagpapaalam , kahit naka akyat n sya sa kwarto ko .
Well hindi na naman sya iba , besides fiancee ko naman na sya and in a month time ikakasal na kami, not to mention we slept in sometimes.. making love and other things adult people do.

I Love him.. and I hate myself.
What had done in the past .. cant be undone .

Sabay nila akong napansin..

"dazzling in red?"
manghang sabi ni Ken.

"dazzled?"
sagot ko.

napatawa nman sya
napatingin ako kay Mommy at ngumiti dn naman sya .. sign of approval.

"lets go?" -ken.

"yeah.Mister"

My Fiancee is beautiful inside and out. he's every girls wet dreams. I guess.  He had 10 flings when we started dating , eleven when you added me. . then after 10 weeks of dating .. he gave up his flings .Guess Im for keeps.

Sumakay na 'ko ng kotse nya and he start driving.

"Love, are you excited?"
he asked not even putting a glance at me ..

"yes .Theres no reason not to be excited.. for some times.. Im gonna be Mrs.Ken Hastings."

"Mrs. Lucy Perez Hastings. . how d'yah like that huh?"

"perfect" I answered then I kiss him on the cheeks

after some minutes dumating na kami sa restaurant kung saan magkikita kita kami.

Maganda ang ambience ng lugar na ito . From the  ceiling to the flouring, from the door to the tables.. everything is perfect ,everyone is perfect except for one thing....

"oh there you are!"
sabi ng isang babaeng naka skin-toned dress, at naka brown high heels na sa tingin 'koy kasing edad ko rin.Maganda sya ,maputi ,at slim

"You look .. perfect!"
sabi naman ng isa pang babae na katabi nya .. naka red fitted dress sya, longsleeves and backless.

the latter wont earn my trust , but I'll go with what other says .. "first impression dont lasts"
