A cloaked figure walked down a long corridor. Pushing aside the door, they stepped into a large throne room. They stepped forward and stopped at the empty throne. Kneeling down, they sighed in mourning. The figure had known about the King's death for a long time. Every one had known. It was foretold in the prophecy. That didn't make it any easier on the subjects. On her.

King.. Soon you shall be restored. I swear it. I shall find someone to bring you back.
The figure stood and turned to leave. They came face to face with another figure in a dark cloak. Their long, green hair seen falling out under the hood.

"You do understand that coming here every day will not bring him back. Don't you?" the second cloaked figure asked the first. The first sighed and felt the tears in her eyes coming back.

"Yes. I'm aware. But That doesn't mean I can't try." she looked up at the second figure. "Mother. I have to try. I will find a way to revive the King. And when I do, all will be well again." she shook her head and walked out of the throne room.
The other figure in the room watched the younger one leave. She sighed and shook her head.
"She's just like you, you know. So stubborn. Ambitious. A dreamer." the figure looked up at the throne.
"Its a Shame she doesn't know... Your daughter will become a great woman. I'm sure of it. And it may be that she will try to revive you. And it may be that we will one day see you in this world again. Who knows? But for now, I shall protect our daughter. I'll raise her well. So she may fulfill whatever destiny awaits her."
She felt a tear fall as she turned and left.

Leaving behind an eerily empty throne room.

(AN- I know that was hella short but this story is sort of just for the hell of it. I may edit it and make it longer who knows. Hope it wasn't too bad.)
