Me & Bahja was walking to this diner I know called ' Outa time '. Hopefully she will like that place & my family won't work there the day. " So? How's life? " I asked her breaking the silence that was between us. " It's good. Just.... Crazy " Bahja said looking at me giving me that giggle that drives me crazy. " That's good to hear. " I said nodding. " So where are we going? " She asked my smiling , the smile that kills me. " To this diner I know called ' Outa Time ' " I smiled at her back. As we was walking to the dinner I saw my mom's car outside of it. I face palm myself , as Bahja looked at me. " Devin what's wrong? " Bahja questioned me. " Nothing just nothing " I said shaking my head. As we walked in front of the dinner. " Is this the place?! " Bahja gasped in excitement. " Uh yeah. You seem pretty happy. " I said to her grinning. " Yeah! My grandma always toke me here before she moved! OMGee! Let's go in let's go in! " She cheered on jumping up & down. Pulling my arm like a little kid. I just chuckled as I prepared to be greeted & embarrassed by my family. Oh Lawd.

As we walked inside I just looked at it in excitement. & twirled around. " This place is so ---- " I got cut off by an older lady walking to Devin & pulling him into a hug. " My baby! Oh how was school " The lady grabbed his face & kissed his cheeks. " Mom. Not right now it was good ok? " Devin snarled a little. As I giggled. " & Who's this young lady? " She asked me as I smiled & shook her hand. " I'm Bahja " I smiled & released her hand. " I'm Gigi , Devin's mother " His mother said smiling. I saw his hand covered his face as I giggled more. " He never acts like this when a girls around he changes , just between us are you his girl friend? " She asked me. " Mom! She's just a friend nothing more , nothing less. " He said sadly. " Oh. Well if she was she would be a great one I can tell " His mom added walking away. " Welp that was embarrassing " Devin said. " Sorry about that. " He added. " No. I think your mom's pretty cool. & funny & caring. " I said as he walked us to a table.

I walked Bahja & I to a table. I pulled out Bahja's chair for her like a gentleman something her stupid boy wouldn't know or do. " Thank you " Bahja said smiling. " No problem " I said pulling in her chair sitting down across from her. " So.... You wanna talk about? " I asked her. " I don't know what you wanna talk about. " Bahja said shrugging her shoulder. " Ok let's talk about when we first met each other what you thought about me? " I asked her smiling showing my braces. " Ok. When I first met you I thought was a nerd. No offense. " She said putting her hand up. " None taken " I chuckled. " Everyone basically calls me that. " I said sighing. " Awe. I'm sorry to hear that but to be honest your like the smartest boy I know , any girl would be proud to have you " She pointed out smiling. " Even you? I was in shock as my stomach felt butterflies inside. As he said that. My eyes began to get teary. " Are you ok? " Devin asked me as I nodded to him. " Uh yeah I'm ok. It's that it was so nice & you know Manny has never said something to me like that ever! " I shouted at the part ever. I seen him get mad when I said Manny. " You don't like Manny do you? " I asked him as he shook his head. " What did you ever found well find in that boy. He surely aint no man. " He added questioning me. " I don't know. I found him very cute & charming. You know " I said to him. He chuckled. " Why you chuckling for? " I asked him getting mad a little. " Mostly every girl in the school falls for his charm & looks. That's why he goes out with them.
