CHAPTER 1:THE BEGINNING

On a cold and rainy morning, Sasha is lying down on her bed bare watching her roof, bored and tired she calmly gets up from her bed and admires all the posters and stickers of her favorite band stuck on the walls of her bedroom .Admiring them she thinks of her past on how she fell in love with the band and how heavy metal genre changed her life from a normal girl who loves dolls to a metal head who is aspiring to become like one of her favorite bands. She loves everything of heavy metal:the music , the guitar riffs, the rhythms, the drums, actually everything, the sheer word of heavy metal makes her boredom and weariness go away and makes her get out of her bedroom and go meet rest of her friends in school who are metal heads just like her.

Raised by a single mom, who pretty much is her everything, she lies to her and runs off to meet with her friends. Just like normal teens , Sasha too had her teen problems: boyfriends, love, romance, prom etc.., in spite of all these so called problems she had another one huge annoying problem in the form of Mariana Jewels, she hated her. She is called the princess of the school, had everything a boy would ever want from a girl plus she had "jewels" in her name which pissed Sasha off as her full name was Sasha Stone. She hated her even more for the reason that she stole her ex from her, that's not it she hates her because in some way she adores her deep inside, she wants to be Mariana, she wants to be noticed the way the other guys notice her, and wants to be famous or more famous than Mariana. Hence she swore to be better in everything than Mariana. Mariana the daughter of Henry Jewels a famous musician in the city and daughter of Precious Henry Jewels who is a co-producer of a rock band. Hence Mariana was famous , loved , cherished not just because of her looks and beauty, but also because of her family and the money.

Mariana! Oh the name, that was enough to get Sasha mad, what pissed off Sasha more was that the feeling was not mutual, Mariana saw Sasha as a dull, unlovable person who acted all weird all times. Mariana didn't hate her but at the same time didn't respect her, she always saw her down which always got onto Sasha's nerves. Things didn't change it remained the same until one particular day when things got bad to worst.

It was on the day when the battle of bands was happening in the school. Jewels was hosting the show and everyone seemed interested in her, the princess of the school. Mostly all of them are interested because her mom and dad are established in music industry and their chances of getting famous from zero to hero will be through impressing Jewels which is what Sasha was thinking in the last row of the concert hall. While on the stage everyone were praising Jewels, on the flipside Ms. Stone was trying to curse and put her down in front of all the other students and the crowd. No one seemed interested but the things which Sasha did to make her foe look bad made her look bad and people started shouting at her, it seemed at that moment that even the crowd fancied her and poor Sasha felt singled out and her voice was hushed down with a greater voice from crowd, by then her friends tried to calm her down and told her to chill.

It seemed that she calmed down, but her jealousy continued to burn deep down within her and she couldn't stand the thought of Jewels been better than her, she wanted to prove it wrong she wanted a chance. Consider it an instant answered prayer, from the stage microphone someone was calling out her name, it sounded very loud and clear it said Sasha Stone to come to the stage. Sasha was perplexed as in why her name was called as there was no need for it. What Sasha didn't know was that her performance with the audience was heard even on the stage and was heard by Jewels too, so during the 5 minutes break between the clash of band Jewels decided to face her off and settle the score. All these days Jewels ignored her didn't even consider her equal, but today she had enough with her nonsense and gossip she was fed up with her cry of desperation to be better and famous, hence Jewels decided to get it over with, She considers her not even worthy to be her enemy, anyways Sasha not knowing the things which are taking place slowly walks towards the stage assuming scenarios and events finally comes onto to the stage. Jewels welcomes her to the stage with a scorn, her face flowed with hatred and Sasha for the first time came very close to her enemy and suddenly she felt numb, her emotions were uncontrollable, she felt weird, first time in her life she is on a stage with lot of people looking at her and she never thought of it before but she had stage fear and her heart beat fast as a formula one engine, She couldn't think but shifted her view from the crowd to her foe and all of a sudden fear turned to wrath and she was looking into the eyes of Jewels like a woman who is possessed and Jewels first time ever saw Sasha that close and was left with a sense of mockery as Sasha was a poor girl with a one to zero talent and she was amused with the fact that this person who is of no match to who she is has the sheer guts to challenge her, that thought disgusted her and hence she was planning to teach her a lesson once and for all to show Sasha her place.

Jewels continued to stare at Sasha and every fleeting second her hatred multiplied towards Sasha and the feeling was mutual. So then Jewels opened her mouth to teach Sasha what her place is but before she could speak anything she felt a hard punch on her face by which she fell down right on the ground along with the microphone which produced a strong feedback, the jeering crowd was all shocked at what had just happened. Sasha has gone out of control, she continued her attack onto Jewels, Jewels started to bleed and things were getting out of control so fast that everyone felt all things in slow motion and people didn't get time to react but few of the band members who were on stage went on to stop the assault of Sasha. Well, Sasha is a strong girl, she even punched the vocalist right on his throat who came to stop her, by this time Sasha's friends ran to her rescue and they got there on time. They tried to calm Sasha, hence tried to provide some words of wisdom to this emotionally unstable metalhead, but what they saw was Sasha with a sorrowful face with anger, jealousy ,pain and hopelessness in her, her friends felt really hurt looking at Sasha in misery, all of a sudden Sasha whispers stuttering to Angie who was really close to her side to take her home. Angie responded to her and told her friends to help Sasha on her way out.

By this time all the things changed in the surrounding and there was lot of confusion and chaos as the MC of the occasion is down and the competition has abruptly stopped. The crowd had no idea what happened and there was no teachers or officials to control the situation towards the right manner.

Have you ever thought things are getting bad to worse, well here it is said Zack as he saw Jewels friends coming for her stead to protect her and to avenge her.

Zack said to Angie timeout lets get the hell outta here and Angie said okay, but things weren't going to be easy, while they decided to make a move Jewels friends blocked Sasha's pals and didn't let them leave. Zack said we wanna leave in peace, after committing such a wreck and chaos snorted Hart(Jewels companion and bodyguard). Look we want no trouble continued Zack, but looks like the chaos only begun, before Zack could spell peace and sort the misunderstandings and issues out he felt a punch on his stomach and he fell on his knees, seeing her friend down Sasha and Angie and their other friends resorted to fighting with the friends of Jewels, now the battle of bands became no fun, but the crowd was in for a more entertaining evening for a "BATTLE OF EGOS".
