22: Love

Lucy p.o.v.

"But she'll be okay, right?"

"She should be, last time this happened she was fine, aside from being weaker. Lucy can handle this, she's still a lot stronger than everyone else in the games."

Is that...Wendy? And Sting maybe?
What happened? I can't breath very well... What's happening!

My eyes shot open and as soon as I seen how bright it was I immediately closed them. I started coughing and my head was aching, it felt as if someone knocked me out. I honestly didn't wanna deal with this pain at all. I tried yelling for Wendy but I couldn't speak. My throat was scratchy and sore, coughing wasn't helping in the slightest.

I heard someone run to my side and Wendy started healing me, my throat felt a bit better but at least I wasn't coughing anymore.

"Thank you both..." I said, weakly.

"Don't talk Lucy, it'll hurt you too much. You should be better in about an hour and the next part of the games starts in three hours."

I softly nodded my head, letting Wendy know I understood, also knowing she would be mad if I spoke. Wendy and Sting both smiled softly at me, and then Wendy said "You should take a nap now, alright?" and with those words I passed out.

Chelia p.o.v

"But I don't know what to do Sherry! She has Rogue!" Tears started running down my cheeks as Sherry started to comfort me, "Tell her how you feel, maybe she'll feel the same way. And sure she has Rogue but didn't you say he's cute too?"

I blushed at her last comment, sure he's cute but I love Wendy... But what it Wendy ends up loving both of us... Oh god why is this happening with me. Can my love life just be simple! I felt something poke my cheek, and then a second time and third. I started paying attention to what was being said and caught -"to Chelia! Earth to Chelia!"

I didn't even realize she was talking to me, "S-sorry Sherry!" I stammered, "I kinda spaced out...." I then looked down sadly, disappointed in myself as well.

"It's alright Chelia, I understand. But promise me, when you talk to Wendy later today you tell her how you feel."

"I promise, I wanna be with her so the sooner I tell her the better." I said, smiling softly. 

Lucy p.o.v

"Almost ready?" Wendy said as she pulled up her socks.

"Yeah, I just have to fix my hair." I said and smiled at her.

I brushed my hair, being careful to not pull any out and had some of it go over my eye. It looked quite nice, or at least in my opinion. After my nap, I felt a lot better. My throat however, was still a bit sore but I could manage.

I'm happy with how I look, I hope Sting will like it. Hopefully what happened didn't worry him too much either. It's an hour till the next event starts, hopefully I can go kill some time by talking to Sting.

I opened the door to my room and peered down the hall, I nervously walked out and down to Stings room. "H-hey Sting" I nervously said. "Lucy! You're actually okay." Sting said and he ran up to me, put his hand on my cheek and kissed me gently. He pulled away after a few seconds and looked into my eyes, lovingly. "I'm just a bit weak is all, other than that I'm fine" I said while I was blushing.  

"I'm so happy that you're awake right now." Sting said and smiled at me. "Good, I'm glad!" I then kissed him, and looked into his eyes. "I love you so much, Lucy..." he said shyly. I stared at him for a second, surprised that he had said it and then.. I smiled and said, "I love you so much too, Sting. I always will."
