The sun shone onto the meadow, inwhich a young girl sat. The warm haze causing the surrounding trees to shake gently along with the chirping of crickets. It had made for a fairly peaceful Summer's evening, basking in the rich sunlight until whisked away by impending gloam, soon to follow into darkened night. It had only been early evening, although the sun was already setting.
A sigh of content left the girl, she examined the field, walking along, careful as not to step on any flowerbed. The meadow flourished with flowers planted in patches with a scattering of Willow and Oak trees planted.
"Aya?" A voice called out. The young girl looked up, to see a familiar silhouette approaching. "What are you doing out here? You are aware your parents have been seeking you for some time?" He asked, with a firm tone to his voice.
Aya gave a nervous laugh, as she came to terms with the fact the night was slowly drawing in, she looked towards the male figure, "Oh.. Sorry, I'd completely lost track of the time.." She drew back her voice, as the male sighed, rolling his eyes, "I'll escort you back to your house if you so wish, although I would sincerely not like for this to become a re-occuring thing, Aya." He replied sharply, lending his arm out to her.
Giving a soft smirk, she kindly declined his offer, "I'll see my own way home, although thank you for the offer." She gave a small, almost sarcastic curtsey and began making her way toward the exit of the meadow, returning to her house.
The male scoffed in slight embarrassment, before eventually following soon after, just as the twilight had begin settling among the open field.
