"Joshua, what's wrong? You look a little pale?" You grinned widely as you twirled the knife between your fingers stained with Hyelin's velvet blood. "Are you possibly scared?" You asked pointing the blade at him as Joshua cowered back with sweat rolling down his face. You gave a low chuckle, "It's fine, I'm just teasing you." You smirked loving this strange feeling.

"I-... I'm-..." Joshua tried to explain but you cut him off.

"Save it." You said looking at him cover up with a bed sheet. He looked right next to him at Hyelin's dead corpse lying down next to him. You look at him analyzing him, "You still love her?" You scoffed out.

Joshua gulped and weakly nodded knowing what this meant.

You knew that Joshua knew he could be said the exact opposite and not risked his life but he chose to be truthful.

You didn't know how to feel.

"Why!" shouted waving the knife around. "WHY DO YOU LOVE HER?! SHE'S DEAD!"

"I love her more than I'll ever love you." Joshua spat out.

You didn't know what overcame you. Anger? Jealousy? Betrayal? All of them?

You plunged the bloody knife into Joshua's stomach. "W-why don't you love me?!" You choked out a sob as tears spilled down your cheeks. "Why don't you love me?" You repeated taking the knife out and stabbing Joshua again. "Why?" You stabbed him repeatedly in the stomach, "After all I did?!"

You breathed heavily as you sat up and looked at the gruesome mess you created. "I hate you!" You shouted with your clenched jaw.

Joshua weakly hummed. His Adams apple bobbed, "The f-feeling is-... is mutual." He retorted back as he smiled. His eyes closed as he fell into his ethereal slumber.
