Madly Infatuated

            I stood on the edge of a street, swaying with the small amount of wind that swirled around me and through my tangled locks.

                        Running. Was my only thought at the moment . so that’s what I did. I ran . Wetness slowly started to dampen my hair as I ran without a care . I looked to the sky to find the clouds darkened with growls errupting from them. I looked to find myself still on an empty street not even the slightest sight of a house was near by . I do not know what made me look behind  me but with a turn I mysteriously sunk beneath the ground to find later I had fallen in a hole. Strange.i fell for what seemed like hhours but happened to be fairely 6 sec before I ubrubtidly hit the ground but the ground was cushiony I realized I was on a bed , suddenly seeming tired I fell asleep  but awoke with a cold eerie feeling on my right shoulder . I looked to see a pale males hand upon my shoulder . it was dark so I could not see , not even the outliine of his body was visible. I glanced to my other side, making sure not to break eye contact with the pale hand on my shoulder. A dark crimson color strolled down my arm making its way to the white virgin gown I now had on. I watched in horror as the same mans hand drew down my arm with a scalpel. I wanted to scream, to rage, to cry out for help but all that came out my mouth was …”why.”

            Panting.i heaved trying to gather my breath as I awoke from a dream I had. It had felt so real I thought to myself. My body was soaked to the brim. I sludged to the bathroom in the hallway. I looked in the mirror my eyes had bags beneath bags.turning on the faucet, I splashe dmyself with cold water to feal somewhat other than hot and sweaty. As I walked back to my room , I was about to climb in bed when I noticed there was a folded sheet of paper on my bed . I hesitated, having the feeling of someone staring at you with eyes that could go through your soul was tormenting. Hesitantly I lifted the paper and read it

     My beloved evangeline,

Did you see me , love? Tonight I lived in your dreams.
