The Purge: Fight Till Death

Tonights The Night.

Tonight was it. The night of the Purge. If you didnt know, the Purge is something thag happens only once a year. 12 hours of murder. The night of survival.

--The Day Before--
"Y/N, will you protect me tomorrow?" Macy asked making me confused. My sister was the youngest, and I honestly dont get how she survived the past 5 purges. She is only 5 and she cant really much on the night of the purge. She's only 5. "Of course. Why wouldn't I?" I asked confused. "Well, I dont know. You killed someone last year."

Last year, something bad happened. I had to kill them. It started at 3:47 am. The doorbell rang. I looked at the security cam and saw a young girl crying. I trusted her becuase she was young. I opened the door, and instead of a young girl, i saw a very tall man. I had to shoot him. It was my only choice. She saw everything.

--The Day--
I woke up early to prepare. I saw Macy run down the stairs. "What are you doing here so early? It's 5:50 am." I asked tilting my head confused. "Well, i wanted to prepare with you."

A few hours of preparing, we turned on the TV and waited for the announcement. About 30 minutes later, the sirens went off warning everyone around. Immediately, the TV turned on.
"This is not a test. This is your emergency broadcast system announcing the commencement of the Annual Purge sanctioned by the U.S. Government. Weapons of class 4 and lower have been authorized for use during the Purge. All other weapons are restricted. Government officials of ranking 10 have been granted immunity from the Purge and shall not be harmed. Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours. Police, fire, and emergency medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning until 7 a.m., when The Purge concludes. Blessed be our New Founding Fathers and America, a nation reborn. May God be with you all."
I looked over to see Macy holding her ears. I did it too. Just as i covered my ears, tons of gunshots went off. This was it. Maniacs, killers, murderers, and psychopaths. Tonight. 7 pm, was the start of the Purge.
