Hidden Beneath The Smile

Well hi since your reading this i am Cataline,Cataline Carries but you can call me cat. I am the girl who is usually smiling and happy but under that smile i have been hiding all along.

I have an amazing family that can be annoying at times. I have 2 siblings, an older brother thats 23 years old and a sister thats 21 years old and I am 18 years old.

We moved to USA last week, and tomorrow I will be starting school i am actually very nervous to start in school, because I am different then everyone I am hyperactive,I hope they will like me.

You never know, in my old school in UK yes i have a British accent okay let me continue in my old school people always that I was crazy or high but no i am actually really nerdy.

Under that smile I am very serious about school because I want to finish and become a singer but no one ever heard me sing I always sing and dance I am to scared to show people the real me because I know they wont like it even if they did I wont believe them.

I said to my parents good night and went to my room when I found my phone and I checked it.

I had a message from my ex-best friend saying sorry again, but no I wont believe her.

I will never forget what she did but I want someone to make all the past change I hope I find this person.

I heard someone screaming wake up!! I turned around and saw my mother screaming at me to wake up and its my first day at school and I am already going to be late so I did what she said.

I woke up wore my white v neck shirt with a red jersey and dark blue jeans and a white converse.

I went downstairs and quickly drank milk, and took a piece of a bread, I saw my mom.I kissed her cheek and said good bye.

She held my wrist and said to me sit down but I resisted and said, sorry but I am late.

I took my car keys that I got when I turned 18, I had a golden coloured infinity.

I reached the school and parked my car, then I heard the bell ring so I ran but I didn't know where I was going, the next thing I found out is I was on the ground.

I saw a boy that had dark brown hair and blue eyes, he helped me up so I thanked him. It's okay and my name is Jack he said, hi Jack my name is Cataline.

I shacked his hand and he asked if I am new to this school and I nodded, he took me to the school office I said thank you and he ran to his class.

I went in feeling really nervous meeting the school principled. I saw a bald man sitting behind a desk.

Hello I'm principled Harvey and I am guessing your the new kid I nodded, he showed me my calendar and what are my lessons.

My first lessons was English so it said it was room 213 so I ran to the second floor and found the room. I knocked and got in.

"Hello do you need something" the teacher said, so I replied by muttering "I am the new kid."

He welcomed me in and asked me I said my name was Cataline Carries.

"Well welcome my name is Mr Len" He said.

He told me to take a seat next to this guy so I sat down. When I sat down the guy looked familiar but I couldn't tell who it was.

"Hey Cataline" I heard the person say,Hey uhhhhh I am so stupid whats your name again I said to him. He laughed then said I am jake the guy you bumped into.Oh yes thats where your from I said sounding dumb He laughed then immediately stoped when he saw that the teacher was looking at us.

The class went very slow but hey I do love english I hope that didn't sound nerdy.I checked my calendar I had history next ewww I always hated history. Like seriously why do we need to know about DEAD PEOPLE!!

When I went to the class I saw a man sitting behind a desk, I sat in the front seat, the table in the middle,"Hello there" I heard someone say,I looked to the side and noticed it was a girl who had long blonde straight hair."Hey sorry to be rude but do we know each other" I was meant ti be rude but it seemed like I have seen her before."No but I know everything and everyone in this school", "OH" I said back.

She entered the class and sat next to me and said "Elizabeth but you can call me elli" " hey elli I am Cataline but you can call me cat" "nice to meet you cat your not from here are you" "I see you noticed no,no I am not from here I am from uk."

Me and elli had a conversation and introduced each other elli is a one child, in her family and her dad has passed away she lives with her mother alone. The class passed so quickly that we didn't notice it finished until the teacher kicked us out.

When the teacher said to us "that we needed to concentrate more in class" we took that just as a warning so we didn't care. School finished as it went so boringly and me and elli became close friends, the sad thing I didn't see Jake.

I was walking to my locker that was close to elli's how lucky am I, I still don't know who is on my left side of my locker, and from where I am I see a person standing there. When i reached my locker I noticed that it was Jake for some reason my stomach started feeling butterflies.

"Hey Cataline hope you remember my name this time" he said, " Yes I remember your name Jake" when I said that he chuckled I don't know why but I am sure his name is Jake. "What did isn't that your name or did I forget again," No my name is Jake it's just the way you say it." " I don't say it differently the any of you guys" " You do, you have a british accent"" Oh I see that you noticed my accent", "Who wouldnt,it's really cute I can listen to you speak for days" " Aawww thanks Jake thats so sweat but sorry I have to go home know". When i was about to leave Jake caught my wrist and turned me around and gave me his phone number then he walked away strange boy.

When I was walking back of the school and I find this lot of boys with cigarettes in their mouths all surrounding my car, and already looked dangerous.
