Lily's P.O.V
'How are you getting home?'
Mason asks me as we walk out of the store.
'I'm taking the bus.' I stated looking down.
'I c-could call an u-unbar (don't know how to spell it).'
David's P.O.V
Damn it! Why do I have to stutter?!
'R-really?' She stuttered.
When she stutters it's adorable
'Yeah!' I say trying to persuade her.
'Sure,' she says back.
'Can Amelia come too?' She asks me.
Damn, I thought it was just going to be me and daisy and Jake
'Uh, sure!' I say.
'How are you getting home Mason?' She asks in her cute voice.
'Probably walking, I guess...' He mumbles.
Shit! Did he want Lily to go with him?! Please don't feel sorry for him daisy! Please!
'I would walk with you but I promised David I'd go with him.' She tells Mason kindly.
'It's okay, I do it all the time.' He says sadly.
'Here we are!' I stop the ubar car and say.
'Okay, I'll see you tomorrow Mason!' Daisy shouts.
'Alright see ya!' He shouts walking away.
Lily sits in the back, and so does Amelia and Jake. I am going to sit int he front, because I'm the one whose paying.
I know Amelia likes Jake, so if she dates Jake I have a better chance of dating lily!
I smile to myself as I get in the car. It was silent until I broke the ice.
'Since when were you and Mason friends?' I say to Lily.
'Oh no we are NOT friends we- wait! I just had a friendly conversation with the boy I hate!' She shouts.
'But he's cool and he's stupid too! I'm so confused!' She says putting her head in her hands.
Jake pats her back and says,
'It's okay, it'll be fine in the morning.' He says calmly.
'T-thanks J-Jake.' She says in between sobs.
Jake smiles and back away.
Lily is not ready for this kind of drama, and that's why I'm going to protect her from it
I say in my mind clenching my fists. Before I know it were at Lily's house.
We stopped at her house because my house is not that far from hers so it's easy.
I pay the man and get out of the car.
'I-I'll see you tomorrow?' I say.
Stop stuttering!
'Of course.' She says politely.
'G-goodbye A-Amelia.' Jake stutters.
'G-goodbye J-Jake, I-I'll see you tomorrow at school.' Amelia blushes.
We stand outside there houses as we wait for them to enter their house. We wave at them as soon as they go in. Once the door closes, a bunch of worry left me.
'Come on bro, we better get going!' I tell Jake.
We start to walk down the road to our house. But I still have this feeling from Lily.
