The Last Shot!

Chapter 1- Soccer Tryouts

"Wow Luke, Nice shot" Mr.Lube said. Mike sighed, Luke you see is the M.V.P on the team (Most valuable player) and he is jerk, the only person that likes him is the coach, he's like in love with Luke. I was so jealous of Luke, "Mike" Mr.Lube called, I looked at Luke with my peripheral and i saw him stretching which made me even more nervous! I slowly stepped on the field and when Luke saw me he said "Good luck B**ch". Mr.Lube blew the whistle and 1 on 1 had begun, Mike had the ball as he charged to the net, when Luke came and tried to take the ball away from Mike, Mike happened to deek Luke before he kicked the ball for the win and it went straight in the net. 

The next day I ran all the way to the gym doors and checked the list, "I don't understand" I said, the paper with the team players names on it, i couldn't seem to find my name. I think I know why, maybe because Mr.Lube didn't like how I showed up his favorite player + all the players cheered for me instead of Luke. "I guess no more soccer anymore", I was so bummed. When I got home my mom said "how was school" I said terrific in a sarcastic way and went up to my room and flopped on my bed. When my mother came up to my room and she saw the sad look on my face. I said "Soccer Tryouts was today" at that moment she knew that I didn't make the team, she told me to not take it so seriously, "it's just a game". "Your right mom, thanks, I gave her a hug with a smile on my face. she went back downstairs to make dinner for us and the moment she left I my face melted away, "soccer was always my passion" I said.

 The next day, my mom came to pick me up from school and she saw me playing soccer with my friends for the fun of it because Mr.Lube would not let me play with my friends on the team. My mom (Abby) saw my skills and she was curios now of why he didn't make the team so she said to me " go wait in the car for a minute" and she asked my friends why this happened and Mike's friends told her all about it, My mom turned away from them for a second with a grin, so here is the plan Abby said...
