Callie's POV

"You don't mean that," I say after listening to what Brandon had to say. "We can work through this, and we can still be together. Nothing has changed between us." "Callie, everything has changed. How are we supposed to be together if I'm in a different state for two months, and you're here living your life without me? That's not a relationship, and it isn't fair for me to leave you here waiting for me," he says. "Well I don't want to end things," I say. "Neither do I, but it's the right thing to do," he replies. "Who cares about what the right thing to do is? When have we ever played by the rules? Adoption was the right thing to do, and I chose you. Because I love you, and I believe that we can survive anything. I believed that our relationship is worth fighting for, and I still do. We can't just throw this away because of this. Not after everything we went through to get here," I say. "Cal, you're not listening to me. I don't want to be the kind of guy who makes his girlfriend wait for him while he's away on tour. It's not fair of me to do that to you. So I have to do the right thing and end this, and when I come back, we can pick up where we left off," he replies. "No, we can't," I say. "You don't want to be with me?" he asks. "I didn't say that," I reply. "Then why can't we just pick up where we left off?" he asks. "Because we both decided that once this is over, it's over for good. There's no more going back. It's now or never, and this was our last time. So we can't just pick up where we left off because things will really be over this time," I say. "Well it's not right," he replies. "Brandon?" I say. "What?" he asks. "Just shut up," I say. I grab his hand and pull him closer to me, placing my lips on his. "What are you doing?" he asks. "I said shut up," I reply, kissing him again. He obeys this time, and our lips collide.

Brandon's POV

"I'm sorry," I say, wrapping my arms around Callie's waist. "I didn't really ask you about coming on tour with me, and I shouldn't have made the decision without you. And I'm sorry for saying that we can't work this out. If we try really hard, I'm sure we can figure this out." "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten so mad at you for suggesting that I go with you. I'm actually honored that you love me enough to go with you. I'll think about it," she replies. "Really?" I ask. "Really," she says. "I love you, and I want to be by your side as you succeed. I don't want you to ever think that I don't support you, because I do. I can't explain how much I support you. I want you to be happy, and if going on tour will make you happy, then I want you to go. I'll talk to my boss and see what I can do," she says. "I love you," I say, kissing the tip of her nose. "I love you more," she replies. "That's not possible," I say. "Oh but it is," she says, smiling at me. I turn around and back her against the kitchen counter, my hands never leaving her waist. "I think I need to show you how wrong you are when you say you love me more than I love you," I say. "Oh really?" she asks, blushing. "Really," I say. I place my lips on her neck, placing kisses on it before sucking on it gently. I leave a deep red mark on her neck, and then my lips are on hers. My hands trail down to her legs, and I push her onto the counter. I feel her fingers curl in my hair, and she pulls me between her legs as our kiss deepens. "Your dad's going to be home any minute," she says. "I don't care," I reply. "Right now all I care about is being with you in this moment." She places her lips back on mine, and I trail my hands underneath her shirt, raising it up her back until it falls to the ground. She follows my lead, and she throws my shirt down to join hers on the floor. Just as I'm about to unbutton her jeans, the front door opens, and my dad walks in. "Dad!"I yell, taking my hands off of Callie. "Um, hello Brandon," he says. "Callie." Callie's face turns red, and she jumps off the counter and puts her shirt back on quickly. I bend down to pick my shirt up, and when I stand back up, my dad is staring at the two of us. "I guess I should go get ready for work," Callie says. She runs to our room, and I follow behind her quickly. "I'll join you," I say. I follow her into our room, and I shut the door behind us. "Your dad hates us," she says, a smile creeping onto her face. "He doesn't hate us. He just doesn't know how to react to what he just walked in to," I reply. "I almost had a heart attack when I heard the door open," she says. "I have to say, you looked pretty hot when you were flustered in the kitchen," I say. "It definitely turned me on. A lot." "Really?" she asks, walking closer to me. "Definitely," I reply, wrapping my arms around her waist. I push her against my door and kiss her again. She jumps up and wraps her legs around my waist, and I push her against the door a little harder this time, and a lound bang emits. "It doesn't sound like she's getting ready for work, Brandon," my dad calls from behind the door.
