When I was about 16 years old my Mom died from Cancer, it was a huge shock to everyone, she was doing so well, she only had 2 more sessions of chemotherapy left, but God had to take her from me, even though she is gone her memory still lives on
4 years later~ "Jessie come on were gonna be late if we don't leave now" Jessie was a foster kid who was taken from her mother after her mother was found with drugs, Jessie has jumped from one foster home to another until I met her, after we met I snuck her out of her house and we have been hiding ever since. "Jess seriously I will leave you behind if your not down in the next ten seconds". Jessie and I were on our way to the train station to go visit her Aunt in New York, the train ride to New York from Boston is about three hours, each month we would go to her Aunt for passes for the train, and we would sell them and keep two for our trip back to Boston"Melani have you seen my bag?","Yes it's in the kitchen","OK I'm ready" she said
"Hey Mel do ever wonder what life would be like if your Mom was still here"? I stopped for a second wondering what would I do if she was still here, would she leave my Dad, would I still be with my sister, I thought about how life would be, would I be on the run, would I still smoke pot, I asked myself questions all the time, and I still don't know the answers to them." You know what Jess I honestly don't know what I would do but she is gone and never coming, just like your Mom". After I finished my sentence, I had realized what I had said, Jess is really sensitive about her Mom, and she really gets mad when people talk shit about her
"You wanna know something Mel I understand the you lost your Mom and she was the only person you loved, but you have know right to bring my Mother into this, don't you think I know that my Mom can never take care of me again, you wanna know why, because she is a crack head, and can't have a good day with drugs in her system" she was crying at this point, but we kept walking.
30 minutes later~" Jess you wanna stop and get some food
