Kristina: "Don't go!"
Kristina's parents: "We'll be right back soon."
Kristina: "Please.. Don't go."
Kristina's parents: "There, there Kristina. Mom and dad will be back soon. We promise."
Kristina: "Okay. Come back soon.."
Kristina's parents: "We love you, Kristina."
Kristina: "Kristina loves mommy and daddy, too!"
*BANG!*
"Kristina, wake up or else you're going to be late!" shouted my mom.
"Mmm. Five more minutes.." I murmured.
"You're going to be late if you don't hurry up!" my mom shouted again with worry.
*glances at the time*
"Holy shit!" I shouted.
"Once you're done getting ready for school, go downstairs. I prepared breakfast for you," said my mom.
"Okay," I replied in an emotionless tone.
I had the same dream again.
*sigh*
After eating breakfast
I was on my way walking to school and I noticed how dark and boring this world was again. "I can't believe that I actually live in this kind of world," I complained. Unfortunately, someone heard me because I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings much.
"You'll be surprised to know that there's more than just that in this world," said a guy who looked like a high school student.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked curiously.
But, the guy disappeared before he heard me.
"What a strange person," I said to myself.
Soon after, the clouds were getting darker and rain was pouring down. I reached my hand out to feel the dripping, cold rain on my bare skin. It felt strange. Usually when it rained, it would rain viciously enough to drench me in its cold substance, but this time I swear, it felt as if the rain was caressing me sadly. Rain can't convey sadness though. I also wonder why I feel so relaxed and calm in this situation without an umbrella in my possession.
*checks time on phone*
"Oh no, oh no, oh no!" I exclaimed. I was late. Unaware, I ran and ran till I saw the name of my school, Serenity High School. As I walked into the school, I take a deep breath, and I slowly entered the main office.
"Hello. How are you today and how may I help you?" asked the polite lady in the office.
"Oh. Um. I'm here to pick up my schedule," I said in a clear voice.
"Oh! I see. What is your name, child?" she asked kindly.
"It's Kristina. Kristina Amour," I replied.
The lady handed me my schedule and I decided to ask her something because I was feeling guilty.
"Aren't you going to ask me why I came into the school late with clothing that's wet?" I asked her innocently.
