Thanks again to my friend memegyuz for making the cover for this

Park Jimin was just a regular sophomore student at his school. His two favorite classes were art, and choir. He didn't really have any friends in choir, so he was always looking around the room when the teacher was talking. There was a boy that always caught his eye, he seemed to never sing, or even speak, he was just very quiet and they never even included him in role call.

Choir was Jimins first class, and art was his last class, so he always had something to look forward to at the end of the day. Today he didn't feel like going to his second period, or at least not on time, so he followed the boy all the way to the other side of the campus, where the senior classes were.

After arriving late to his class the rest of the day went fairly normal, until the bus ride that is. Jimin got on the bus, it was completely packed, there was only one open seat, the seat Jimin never saw anyone sit in.

He sat down next to him, the strange guy in his choir class, he wore a black hoodie, no matter how hot it was. You could only see the tips of his glossy black hair.

"Hey..." Jimin said, slightly scared of why everyone avoided this guy. The guy didn't answer, he just tensed up a bit. 'Maybe he doesn't like being talked to?' Jimin thought.

He pulled his phone from his pocket and went into his notes, quickly typing a small message to the guy ' hi, I'm Jimin.... I'm in your choir class....'

He handed the phone to the hooded guy, who took it, but was still looking down. He typed something and handed it back.

'I'm hoseok.... '

'Do you want to talk to me? Am I bugging you? Can I see your face?'

'I think the real question is do you want to talk to me? And do you really want to see my face?'

'Yes...if that's okay...'

Hoseok slowly pulled down his hood, revealing possibly the cutest face Jimin ever saw, although there was something that caught Jimins eye, a nasty scar across Hoseoks face. "What happened there?" Jimin asked out of curiosity.

"I'd rather not explain... " Hoseok mumbled, it was the first thing Jimin ever heard him say.

"Oh..okay well ... bye Hoseok!" Jimin said as he smiled and stood up to get off the bus.

-

"Bye mom!" Jimin said as he left his house for the bus.

He got on the bus, not as packed in the morning, and found Hoseok.

"Hey Hoseok."

"Hey..."

"What's wrong Hoseok?"

"Nothing."

"Hoseok why do you always hide your face?"

"Reasons."

"Like what?"

"Like if you ask me another question I'll punch you in the face."

"Oh okay..."Jimin said as he put his headphones in.

"Jimin." Hoseok said after a few minutes of silence.

"Hm?" Jimin said, pulling his headphones out.

"Why did you come and sit by me again?"

"Who's the one asking questions now?"

"Just answer."

"Because you seem really nice and you're also lonely and we're friends now so I'm supposed to make you not feel lonely."

"I'm not lonely."

"Oh yea who do you hang out with at lunch?"

"Uh..... my backpack?"

"Where do you stay at for lunch?"

"The corner of the band room. Why?"

"Because we are friends now and I'm gonna hang out with you at lunch."

'Why does he act like this?....' Hoseok thought. No one ever even acknowledged his existence. Occasionally he would talk to the band teacher, but other than that, he never talked to anyone.

"Why?"

"I already told you! Because we are friends now!" Jimin said as they both got up and left the bus for the classrooms.

"Jimin." Hoseok said as they walked.

"Yeah?"

"You're a Junior right?"

"No I'm a sophomore."

"Oh ... I'm a senior..." Hoseok said, sounding sadder if that was possible.

They got to choir together and the class went normally. Some kids in the middle of the room shooting rubber bands at each other while only about half the class was actually singing.

"See you at lunch!"Jimin said to Hoseok as he left the door and headed for his class.

-

Jimin went to the band room for lunch, where Hoseok said he would be. Jimin approached Hoseoks hooded figure and sat next to him. He pulled Hoseoks hood off only to reveal that he was crying.

"Hoseok what's wrong?"Jimin said wiping Hoseoks tears.

"I don't wanna talk about it." Hoseok said through tears.

"It's okay Hoseok... It's okay ...." Jimin said as he hugged his new friend. "Do you want a cookie?"

"No I'm okay ..." Hoseok said, still crying some.

"No here have a cookie- my mom made too many." Jimin said as he held a cookie to Hoseoks mouth. "Eat it. They're good."

Hoseok took a bite of the cookie, and Jimin was right, they were really good. "Thank you, Jimin."

"Are you done crying?" Jimin asked, wiping the little bit of tears that were left on Hoseoks face.

"Yea " Hoseok said as he hugged Jimin again, taking in the nice smell, it wasn't really cologne, it smelled more like really nice laundry soap and hair soap.
