"Lolo, get up!" Camila shouts excitedly, jumping on her best friend Lauren's figure under the sheets.
Grumble.
Cuss.
Grumble.
"You promised today we would go roller skating? Remember?" The brunette reminds with a pout.
She was looking forward to it all week, considering the fact that her best friend since high school has been so busy with college, family and work on top of that.
She missed her.
"Alright, alright. I'm up," Lauren surrendered.
She too missed her best friend and thought it would very selfish of her to cancel yet another day she planned for the two.
Camila squealed and threw herself on the older girl, hugging her as tight as she could before removing the sheets to reveal a pale, green eyed Lauren she grew up with. She couldn't help but smile and think about the day ahead of the two.
"Camz, get off of me." Lauren chuckled.
The brunette rolled off the bed.
"Now, please hurry up and come down for breakfast." Camila said as she headed out the door and then downstairs.
Breakfast? Lauren thought.
She knew this couldn't be good at all.
1. They've never had breakfast at home before
2. Camila couldn't cook at all
With this in mind, Lauren took a brisk shower, brushed her teeth and got dressed in her usual get up. Bomber jacket, black jeans and combat boots.
The ladies loved it.
"Ah, I see you've finally decided to come,"
"What the hell are you doing to my kitchen?"
Camila had a white apron wrapped around her slim body, across the table were different sauces, seasonings and fruits as well.
"Please, please I have a seat."
Lauren furrowed her eyebrows but obliged to her roommate's commands. She could tell the younger one was really happy and she didn't wanna ruin that.
This was the most words they've said to each other in weeks and even the most time spent together in weeks.
Camila spent all week on the internet, learning how to cook and create specific meals. While Lauren was out, she tried her best to make them exactly how the sites said to and videos showed her to but everything failed.
Even blew up.
So she decided to create something simple with the help of her friend, Ally.
She wasn't only doing this out of fun either.
Lauren's birthday was coming up soon and she had something planned.
"I hope you clean this back-"
"Bam!"
The brunette slammed a plate down in front of Lauren. It had three stacks of waffles, white foam dripping from the sides and red flakes sprinkled all over and there seemed to be chocolate on it too.
"Taste it." Camila said, wiggling her eyebrows.
"First of all, please don't do that with your eyes or whatever and second, what is this?" Lauren questioned, examining the mystery on her plate.
