Every day was different. Sometimes Liz would come home from school and just lay in her bedroom, and cry, and cry, and cry until she fell asleep. Some days she would come home depressed. She would eat a lot, and then go to the bathroom and throw it all back up. No matter what, everyday was bad. Some worse, some better, but all were bad.
Monday, Walking into the school, the whispers would start. Which weren't much of whispers at all.
"Shes fat", "Shes ugly", "Why is she even alive"..
Little did they know, Liz knew she was fat, she knew she was ugly, and she attempted suicide many times. She felt so worthless and small. According to her she had no purpose.
She could hide everything so well, that nobody suspected a thing.
But one day, in PE her shirt came up. A girl name Bree saw her scars on her stomach, and immediately started making fun of her and laughing. (You know THAT GIRL, the type that thanks she is the best, thinks her little clique is so cool). That was Bree. Liz would lie and say "I have had a lot of surgeries lately" but Bree knew that she was lying. They were fresh, bloody cuts, and scars. She knew Liz, cut herself, and she thought it was funny. But, what Bree didn't know was that revenge was coming. Liz had already started planning it.
A week later, right before Christmas break, Liz decided today is the day. All of a sudden at lunch, all the anger Liz had inside her, came out. She walked up right behind Bree, hit her as hard as she could, and pushed her over a lunch table. She didn't feel one ounce of regret as Bree laid there, not moving. She actually was incredibly happy.
Liz got expelled, and walked out of the school with a smile on her face.
Liz wiped her slate and started over. She cut her hair, dyed it, and begin a new life. She was a totally different Liz. She started a new school, with a new attitude. Never looking back on the past.
All it took was one second of revenge, to get back at the girl who thought she was perfect, to make Liz say to herself "I'm done. I'm moving on."
Now, Almost 2 years later. She couldn't be happier with her life. In a committed relationship, and surrounded by amazing friends. Liz is 2 years clean of cutting, and hasn't made herself vomit, EVER again. Liz is a new girl, and lives her life like she always wanted. Happy, and satisfied.
Instead of feeling so worthless with no purpose. liz is now LIZ. She now looks at herself with respect and confidence.
