KARMA AND THE 13 BELIFES
1.For every good thing you do, good will come to you and the same with
the bad.
2.The exact good or bad thing you do will not come back to you as reward or punishment but eventually in life you'll experience irony.
3.Your faith in god does not affect your karma, whether you believe in him or not.
4.Love is not a thing nor feeling of good, it only leads to heartbreak.
5.No one's life is already written in stone, your path constantly changes depending on your karma. 6.The sins are key factors that can affect your karma.
7.Your deeds in life could affect the people or creatures you care for.
8.Your death is always certain, life may not be written in stone but your death is.
9.Your death is already planed in the other world (if there is one) but can be changed by someone else's bad deed.
10.Your good or bad karma will not affect your placement in Heaven or Hell, that is God's choice (if there is one).
11.You can change your path in life by cutting else's short for better or worse, but irony will always get you.
12.To determine where your soul goes after death, hatred is judged not karma.
13. "Don't ever acknowledge the hatred, or you will become it." -Samantha Rosenburg
TUNE 1 AND FINALLY, HE SMILES
"Kael, it's okay you can let me go now. You can let it all go, you can just let it go and become what you need to become." A voice said, as Kael floated through a field of darkness in a t-shirt and boxers. "What are you saying? I won't let you go because I did this to you I caused your pain." Kael said, his voice now sad and slow, "Please just stop this, don't leave again." "Bye Kael, I'll talk to you again real soon." The voice said full of joy and pride. "No, please no!" The room became darker than any darkness ever seen by the human eye. "Please don't go Kyliegh!" Kael yelled, sitting up in his bed breathing deeply and sweating all over. He scratched his thin black beard and looked around. His room was in a big mess; clothes heaped in piles everywhere, papers in a mess on his desk. He rubbed his aching head and looked around at the familiar sights of his room, and then he realized something that caused his brain to spiral. "Wait what the hell! How did I get to my room? How did I get home last night?" He thought. He couldn't remember a thing from the night before, he finally decided to forget about it and get ready for school. He got out of bed and slouched to his closet. Then another brain jolt hit him. "How the hell did I know I had school today? What happened last night? I have to- ahh!" Kael fell to his knees as he thought about this and images seemed to drive through his skull. He saw a school, then some ally, then faces of 6 people he seemed to know, but it was one impiticular that really cot his eye. The face seemed to enrage him and he finally got dressed. He put on a long sleeved red shirt with a black school shirt over it. He also wore black, super skinny (like a girl's) school pants with a red leather belt, and black shoes with red laces. He grabbed his backpack and slowly headed down stairs to leave. He was just about half way down when he heard a loud, angry voice of a woman. "Kael!" the voice yelled. "Yeah mom?" "Don't come in this house that late again." His mom said. "Yes ma'am." Kael said. He went to the kitchen to get something to eat and saw his glasses on the counter. He put them on and it became much easier to look around for things. Then in the bathroom near the kitchen he saw it, a flat iron. He looked in the bathroom mirror at his tangled, mess of black hair and picked up the flat iron. When he was finally done his hair was perfectly straight, with a streak of it hanging over his left eye. He gave a deep sigh and walked out of the bathroom and on to school. He was determined to get to the bottom of his memory loss, by finding the face he remembered, the one that angered him. Millikan high school, Kael entered the school walking as fast as possible to find the face he needed to find. Glomp! A heavy jolt to his back caused him to fall completely over in to the ground. He tuned to his backside and looked up at the person who knocked him over. I t was girl with blonde hair tied in small pigtails. She wore a pink long sleeve shirt with a black school shirt over it, a black school skirt with a pink belt and black school shoes with pink laces. Her eyes seemed to sparkle at the sight of Kael. "Oh my god! Kael your okay, thank god, I thought you were dead after you didn't answer your phone last night." She said in a cute little British accent, jumping up and down with delight. Kael stared at her in confusion, and then his head began to beat with pain again. His brain made him remember that this girl was one of the six faces he had known earlier. "Kayla Johnson." Kael mumbled, as he got up from the ground, "Sorry Kayla, but to be honest I don't remember a thing from last night, say you wouldn't actually happen to know what day it is would you?" He couldn't believe he had to ask her that, but he really couldn't remember the date at all. "Your so silly! It's the second day of school." Kayla said, jumping up and down again. (Some one had a little too much coffee huh?) "What!" Kael couldn't believe he forgot his first day of school. He was really upset now, but you wouldn't be able to tell by his slouching stance and deep, depressing sigh. "Kael, Kayla hey!" A voice from behind them said. They both turned to see a boy and a girl, now standing in front of them. The girl was defiantly Mexican with her black hair tied in a small ponytail. She wore an indigo shirt with a black school shirt over it, black school short shorts with an indigo, and black school shoes with indigo laces. The boy was black with short, curly black hair. He wore a yellow long sleeve shirt with a black school shirt over it, black school pants with an orange belt, and black school shoes with yellow laces. The girl had a huge smile on her face and the boy had no facial expression what so ever. Their names flowed through Kael's head. Alex Perez and Gabriel Dubois. "Hey Alex!" He said with a bit of happiness in his voice, and then he noticed the boy and gave a deep sigh, "Hey Dubois." "Ruiz." Gabriel responded back, void of any emotion what so ever. "Whats going on you look like you have a problem Kael not that you ever don't, but you really look like you have a problem, so whats the problem?" Alex said, with a look of confusion and thought on her face. Alex had a way of being smart by being very stupid, but she was right about Kael having a problem. "I really don't have time to explain the whole thing, but follow me and tell you the short version of it on the way." Kael said, walking off and waving his hand as a signal to tell the rest of the group to go with him. They walked across the school to the 700 building as Kael explained what had happened the night before. Not to long after that they had reached their destination. Room 713, the room where everyone els remembered being in the day before, but not Kael. His heart filled with an uneasy mixture of excitement, rage, and contradiction. Excitement from knowing he find out what happened to him the night before, rage to know that the person he was going to get his answers from was the one that fucked him over, but the deepest and most misunderstood feeling was the contradiction. This feeling was telling him to let it go, that once he opened that door his life would never be the way it was at that moment again. It said just to cut his loses and the day before and just go on with his life. But he couldn't go on knowing that there was an important piece of his life he didn't know. He ignored this very convincing feeling however, and decided to open the door and get the info he wanted. The moment he opened the door he saw the face he was looking for. She sat behind her polished wooden desk with her fiery red hair tied in a ponytail that was spiky in the back and a streak of it covered her right eye. She wore a magenta blouse with a with a black sweater vest over it, a black skirt with magenta jeans under it, a magenta belt around her waist and black dress shoes. She wore huge circled glasses and had a sly smile on her face when she looked at Kael. There were to kids sitting at smaller desk in the front row of the class. One was a boy and the other was a girl. The boy had short, straight blonde hair that seemed to block his eyes a little. He wore a long sleeve orange shirt with a black school shirt over it, black skinny school pants, a yellow belt, and black school shoes with orange laces. The girl had straight, very dark brown hair that went down to just above her shoulders. She wore a long sleeved pink shirt with a black school skirt over it, black coprese with a pink belt, and back school shoes with pink laces. They both stared at him, sensing the anger boiled up inside of him. Kael slammed his hand on the fiery-headed woman's desk and finally asked his million-dollar question. "You mind telling why the fuck I can't remember a thing from last night except for this room and your face?" He demanded. He then felt a strong force smack his head on to the desk. From the corner of his he could see it was the girl sitting at the desk. He then felt another force hold down his arms. He looked up and wasn't surprised to see it was the boy that was sitting at his desk before. His head began to pound again and his memories told him that he knew the names of these people. "Barbara Qualls and Ryan Daisey." He thought to himself. "Ahh! Kael, what the bloody hell are they doing to him?" Kayla said jumping uncontrollably. "What does it look like? They're restraining him." Gabriel said bluntly. "I think she knew that already knew that much Gabe, it's just an expression used to describe something unbelievable." Alex said, scratching her head. "But how is it unbelievable? I mean we see him being restrained right now.' Gabriel said calmly, but challenging to Alex. "Well that's just how English phrases work in America these days." Alex explained. "Hey guys! School hasn't even started yet so stop with the teaching and get with the helping me!" Kael sighed from a distance. "You heard him you two, let him go." The woman behind the desk said, still with a sly smile on her face. "But Miss.Rosenburg!" The girl said, with anger and astonishment in her voice. "Come on Barbara you heard the lady, let him go." The boy said with a chuckle, "Besides you need to calm down have you been taking your anger management classes lately?" "No one asked you Ryan!" Barbara yelled, letting go of Kael's head. Ryan let go of his arms and the two slowly took a few steps back. Kael took a few deep breaths and looked down at the desk. "I apologize for my students, overreactions, but any way since you don't seem to remember me from yesterday, my name is Samantha Rosenburg." The fiery-haired woman said, clasping her hands together. "Yes I remember your name and this class room, but pretty much nothing else, but I know you can answer my questions." Kael said, tying to sound defensive and strong, but his timid nature made this plan fall flat. Samantha got a sly smile on her face again. "Oh so you wouldn't remember the conversation I had with you and your friends about karmism would you?" She asked Kael slyly. Kael's head began to throb again. He fell to his knees and began to remember not only being in the classroom; he also remembered what they actually were talking about. "Karma is the balance good deeds and bad deeds, good feelings and bad feelings, it is what life thrives on. When we are human are dark karma stays dormant while our light karma stays awake and keeps our body living. When the human body finally dies, your light karma helps the body decompose and become one with the earth, while at the same time the dark karma is awoken from it's sleep and turns the human soul in to one of two different things, both of these are born from hatred which every human has in their heart until there death and depending on your hatred you will change in to your true form. When the light half of you dies, the memories of how the person died and that whole day vanish except for if he or she learned about karma, then that memory and the people there at the time will never fade. One of the two forms humans become after death is called a Phenomenon, this is an entity born from people with a lot of hatred in their lives but a special hatred, hatred in them. These people become Phenomenon, and are a very selective few. The other is born of hatred in any aspect of life, job, family, school, coworker, and schoolmate, anything that is really meaningless and has no reason to be hated. These people become Phenomely, evil little creatures, demons is what the modern world would call them. They are powered by the once human soul's hatred and cause nothing but destruction. Phenomenon are born for the purpose of killing Phenomely and thus freeing the soul from it's hate and goes on to where only the spirits before it went know. This children is the basics to Karmism." Samantha explained. The image was blurry, but was there in Kael's. "Kael! Are you okay?" Kayla said, jumping up and down in fear and excitement. (FYI: REAL KARMIST DON'T BELIVEIN PHENOMENONS AND PHENOMELYS AND ALL THAT SHIT! IT'S JUST FOR THE STORY. OH! AND THERE IS NOT A LOT OF ACTION IN THIS CHAPTER BUT BARE WITH ME TIL THE NEXT) "Yeah, yeah, I'm good." Kael said, slowly standing up, "If what you said the other day is true, then am I a Phenomenon or a Phenomely?" "That my young friend is something that only time will tell." Samantha said, once again showing off her shiny teeth with her sly smile. A loud ringing pierced the air, and spred around the whole school. "Looks like it's class time kiddies, maybe we'll talk more later." Samantha said, pointing towards the door. Later after school, Kael, Kayla, Gabriel, and Alex went to Yum-Yum's donut shop to hang out after school. Kael hadn't said a word since there talk with Samantha. The others sat in the booth with him silently, trying to think of something to break the tension. "Well, at least you're not in Hell." Gabriel said, in monotone. Alex bumped him in the ribs, and he shrugged in response. Alex looked over to Kael, head on the table not saying a word. She then looked over to Kayla who was sitting next to Kael, and frowning. Alex thought for a minute then got a good idea, which was really weird from someone like her. "Hey I'm starving I'm ganna' go down to the Stator Brothers down the parking lot, Gabriel why don't you come with?" She asked "But where in a donut shop." Gabriel said flatly. Alex elbowed him in the ribs, and he shrugged at her. She makes a face and Gabriel sighs and reluctantly agreed. "Good then, me and Gabe will be back in a second, Kayla you stay here with Kael okay so bye!" Alex said, grabbing Gabriel and running off out the door. "Wait! Don't leave me behind with the buzz kill. Ohhh! I'm didn't mean." Kayla said, covering her mouth with her hands. "It's okay, it doesn't bother me." Kael muttered his face still lay out on the tabletop. Kayla frowned and stared at him sadly. She knew he was hurting, but also knew she would never could experience the pain he was feeling. (Epic foreshadowing) "Poor little Kael, he dies yesterday and he can't even remember, and then that woman barely even tells the things he needs to know." Kayla thought, "It's not like his destiny is ganna come out of no where and force him to do what he has to do." (And here comes the best part) Shake! Shake! The ground rumbled and shook loudly as if a sudden earthquake had struck. People could be heard screaming and running outside like judgment day had finally come and they were all sinners or atheist. Kael didn't move from his spot, because he quite frankly didn't care. Kayla however, was very interested in what was going on, but what she saw took any excitement at of her. She opened her mouth to let out a shrike, to alert Kael of the danger but it was as if she yelled out at a pitch so high no human could hear it. Crash! The widow glass of the donut shop shattered and splintered through the air and sent Kael flying across the room. Kayla would have followed him, but a slimy brown tentacle grabbed hold of her and pulled her outside. In her despite attempt to get Kael's attention she let out a final shrill of terror. "KAEL, HELP ME!" she yelled out. Kael opened his eyes, despite the pain he felt in his heart at that very moment, someone he cared for was in danger and he had to save her. He stood up and suddenly realized his wrist, chest, and face was bleeding from the shattering glass that hit him head on. He ignored the pain of his bloody wounds and quickly moved outside to save Kayla but he soon saw the reason for the scream. What stood before him was a huge, brown slimy pile of mud with eyes and 8 tentacles over 5 stories high. Kael shook and sweat at the very sight of it. He didn't know why but he could feel it's very essence; it's soul admitting energy. "Could this be, the karma Samantha was talking about before?" Kael thought. As he stood there in wonder something in him seemed to stir up. The skin where his wounds were located began to crack and break apart. "I-I can't breath. My heart it's not moving anymore, am-am-am I dieing again? No what the hell is this feeling? It's like this feeling of bliss-I-I can't shake this feeling that God-God is holding my life in his hands." he thought, continue his hard breathing. His crackings began to spred and worsen; the cracks soon covered his whole body. "Kael, what's happening to you?" Kayla thought. Meanwhile, from a near by building Ryan and Barbara were watching the events unfolding at that moment. "Looks like we got some change." Ryan said, "Wow black people really do need a lot of lotion to keep their skin smooth." "Ha-ha, very funny Ryan. You fucking racist." Barbara said, taking out her phone and calling someone from her speed dial list, "Miss.Rosenburg, he's beginning to change now. Yes we have a perfect view of the situation. Yes ma'am, we'll let you know when complete change has happened. Okay then, call you back soon bye." She hung up and turned to Ryan. He seemed to be enjoying what he was watching. "What the hell going on, did he change?" She asked. "No, I'm just checking out this really cute girl hiding behind a fence." He answered, with a big grin of delight on his face. Pong! Barbara whacked him in his head and he collapsed. "You idiot." She said, stepping on his back, and dusting off her hands, "Now let us see what happens to the new Karmist." Kael couldn't move no matter how much he wanted to. His body, covered in cracks could no longer hold, and finally shattered. Dust flew everywhere around him. "Kael!" Kayla shouted, in shock and fear. The dust finally settled and a boy stood over the shards of Kael. His hair was straight and red with a streak over his left eye and tied in a spiky looking ponytail. There was red bandana with a black skull in the center around his head. He wore a choker with spikes around it. Over his long sleeve, black shirt with red stripes was a red, short sleeved, hoody sweatshirt with another black skull. Red gloves covered his hands with his fingers still showing, the gloves were also covered in spikes. He also wore pitch-black skinny jeans with a chain in the back pocket, a red belt covered in spikes, and red slip on vans with a checkered pattern. The thing that grabbed Kayla's attention almost instantly however, was the black half mask with a sad face on it over the right side of his face. (It looked like those mask you see in one of those confusing theater classes) "That boy who is he? What the hell did he do to Kael?" Kayla thought, starring down at him amazed by how he suddenly appeared and how Kael just suddenly shattered and was gone, "Could Kael have-could Kael have turned in to the bad thing Samantha was talking about, and that guy came to exterminate him?" The boy stood silently looking up at the monster that had Kayla in her clutches. A huge smile slowly appeared on his face, and he licked his lips with excitement. "Hey hot stuff! This thing not that strong I can feel it. I'll have you down in a jiffy or my name isn't Phenomenon Domino!" The boy said, with a huge smile, and a laugh. "Are you serious? This thing is huge, how can it not be that strong? Oh yeah, who you calling hot stuff, and where the hell is Kael?" Kayla yelled out, in rage and frustration. Domino just smiled and pulled out a blank white card. "4th horseman." He whispered. The card shimmered with light and began to shape in to something new. It shaped it's self in to a long, black pole with a skull, and a bunny keychain at the bottom of it. At the top of it was a long, thin, curved, crimson blade with a small point on top and in back of it. "The card just turned in to fucking scythe out of nowhere! Who the hell is this guy?" Domino took out another card and held it out in front of the mud creature. "Limbo feet!" He laughed. The card shined and seemed to flow down to his feet. He suddenly zoomed over to the creature with shocking speed. He moved so fast he literally walked up it. He began to run around it slicing its tentacles off one by one as he went along. Splish, slash, slice! The tentacles fell off the monster in a spew of slime and squishy noises as they hit the ground. Domino kicked off the beast and hung in the air a moment, looking out the situation. "Nice fucking going, you got every tentacle." Kayla whined softly, "Except the one holding me!" "My bad heheh." Domino chuckled, scratching his head, "Well then how about this card?" As he zoomed back down to the mud creature he pulled out another card, it spit mud out at him. Domino easily dodged it with his incredible speed. "Dance of bones." He said laughing, and suddenly there were 13 clones. The clones all swung at the mud monster at once, while the real Domino quickly grabbed Kayla. "All right you brave soldiers, you know what to do." He laughed as he kicked off the mud monster to get out of range of what was going to happen, Kayla in his arms. The clones all took out blank cards and smiled at the mud creature. They all held out their left hands with their middle fingers pointed out and a thumb up like guns. "Crimson death!" They all laughed out. Red energy balls shaped like bullets fired around the creature at once. BOOOOM! There was a loud explosion as the mud monster and the mud monster and the Domino clones became nothing but red, sparkling dust. Gabriel and Alex were walking back from the store. "We were in a donut shop." Gabriel said once again. "Oh shut the hell up Gabe I heard you the first thousand times." Alex said, "But it was apart of my plan to get Kayla-and Kael-alone." She was frozen at the sight of the explosion and a shadowy figure floating down from the sky with Kayla in his arms. She turned around and walked back to the store. "Alex where are you going?" Gabriel blankly asked. "I'm going to get some twizzlers and Arizona, Kael said he liked those best, and I forgot them." Alex cheerfully said walking away. "You're just going to ignore that?" Gabriel said, calmly but confused. Alex turned and looked at him with a smile on her face. She was never one to admit her true feelings, she would never be anything but happy in public. "Ignore what Gabe?" She asked. "What the fuck Alex?" Gabriel said bluntly. "Incredible he handle that new power so well, almost like your first time Ryan-Ryan what are you looking at?" Barbara asked. "Just our beach trip pictures with Miss.Rosenburg." Ryan said, snickering. "Okay you better not be doing what I think your doing." Barbara said angrily. "Well would you look at all the colorful fire works?" Domino laughed hysterically. "Thank you-Domino." Kayla said, with a slight smile, "But can I please have my friend Kael back now?" The red shards in the air seemed to float down and wrap around Domino's body. The red light suddenly faded back in to Kael, school clothes and all. "Did I really just do that?" Kael said scratching his head. And in that moment, for a split second Kayla swore she saw Kael smile for the very first time. "Kayla you alright?" Kael asked with a deep sigh. "Yeah-yeah I'm fine just a little hungry." Kayla said smiling.
