(I hope you enjoy this little bit. Also you'll know more of David's fiancee i've decided. So any thoughts on that would be gladly welcomed even if it's criticisim.)
It was only a few days ago but Alex felt like David was her everything. They say that long distance relationships never work, but David and Alex made it work. Alex was at her mothers house doing the dishes waiting for Alec to show up for their bi-weekly family dinner to have a decent conversation that didn't begin with. 'OMG! I met THE hottie Johnny...I KNOW! We're practically married. He called the house the other day I think he might be in love with me...' blah blah blah. Her mother handed her another dishes.
"Are you and your brother ever going to tell her?" Alex froze for a moment before chuckling.
"About what?"
"How THE Hottie Johnny is in love with your brother." Alex dropped the dish which skidded across the floor.
"Wh-what? Ha, What are you talking about? Johnny and Alec ar-are both boys they couldn't possibly..."
"Nothing wrong with that is there?" Alex stared at her mother who was blissfully unaware of the tension in the room humming and washing another dish.
"How can you be so shrewd about Alec and Johnny and not about your own husband?" Alex snapped.
"Well, first of all what goes on between your father and I is none of your concern and second of all it rather obvious of them don't you agree?" Her mother winked half-smiling at her before going back to the dishes. "One day...One day your father will grow so full of himself too complacent in his position thinking he can get away with anything..." Her mother handed her a dish but held her eye. "Then we will see who is making whom a fool, yes?"
"That's so...bad." Alex and her mother shared a mother/daughter moment smiling away when Alec came in.
"What's up?" Alex giggled jumping off the counter running over to her brother giving him a huge hug. She kissed him on the cheek before whispering in his ear. 'She knows.' Alec's face blanked with shock while his sister and mother beamed at him proudly.
"So I guess a lot is up?" They all shared a good laugh when Reye walked in giggling into the phone twirling with her hair.
"Yeah-Yeah I know! THE Hottie Johnny invited me to his birthday party! EEE! Well, I don't know Meghan you haven't been such a great friend lately and Susan already said she'd cut my lawn for me and besides...HEY!" Reye squealed. "Give that back!" Alex grabbed the phone from Reye.
"Realie has to go clean the bathroom with her tongue now." Alex heard an 'Ew,' on the other end of the line before she hung up.
"Reye...what do you mean you got invited to go to Johnny's birthday party? He barely even noticed you existed at the concert."
"Well after you left me and Johnny got alone and we kinda...hit it off." She trailed off suggestively. "Totally platonic, mom!" She called out, when she turned back to Alec and Alex she winked and giggled. Behind her back their mother whispered quietly.
"I would expect nothing less of him. Johnny was always a nice boy, Reyelia Where did you learn that word?" Reye ignored their mom and walked out of the room calling out to them.
"I guess he just liked me better than you two butt heads."
"Reye, don't call your sister and brother butt heads."
"But mom!!" Reye whined loudly. "They always call me nasty names and you don't say anything to them!"
"How exactly did he contact you?" Reye was silenced. "Reye? How did Johnny contact you?"
