The room is cold
My heart beats slow
You're a million miles away
The dreams awake me
The night mares haunt me
I close my eyes
I beg for peace
But the darkness
Just seems so deep
I'm all alone
Broken here
Lost and lonesome
In the bitter cold
Pain is irrational
And love seems so fictional
But here I am
Awake again
Lost amongst the shadow's.

A glimpse of the moon and the sun
How weak are the living
The innocent dead,
Following footsteps that are shadows
On hearts unwilling to beat

The moon swallowed up by the sun
Die does the star
a heavenly mark
Crimson scar in the sky
Fight does the heart
Wanting to beat
Black as the night
So still and so sweet

Hearts broken so swiftly
A sweet silent kill
Chaos the key
To unraveling me
And giving me what I wish most
