Trapped: Part 2

"Excuse me?"

"Choose your weapon."

As I tried to figure out the person who had said the chilling statement, I noticed how eerie the arena was.

Suddenly, a table appeared in the middle of the arena. I gingerly walked towards the table. There were three weapons: an ax, three pairs of throwing knives, and a bottle of pills.

What were the bottle of pills for?

"Oh hell no. I'm not doing that. You can't make me."

The voice answered, "You will choose, and you will fight. You don't want to make the Programmers angry."

"Who are the Programmers? Who are you? How did I get here? I'm not choosing one of those freakin' weapons until someone tells me what the hell is going on here!"

Silence.

A door creaked open, it was like the same sound you would hear in one of those horror movies. I braced myself, my hand was hovering over the ax. I thought to myself, " Okay, this is what I'm going to do. I will take the ax and behead anything that comes at me and run." But where would i run?

I felt my heart pounding and I started to shake. A man came out. He wore a fake smile on his face and his eyes were as black as the night sky. Everything he was was wearing was white-- his suit, tie, shoes. Even his hair was white.

"Who the heck are you?"

He smiled, "Congratulations, Kate, you passed the first test."

"How do you know my name?"

Quickly, the man grabbed a sword, it looked like he grabbed it from thin air. It was on fire. Where the hell do you find a freakin' fire sword?

Nervousness fled throughout my body. As my hands were shaking, I quickly grabbed the ax.

"Don't get any closer I will cut your head off!"

He laughed, "You wouldn't do that."

"Wanna bet?" My palms were sweating. He could see that I was nervous.

In an instant he ran towards me with full speed. I grabbed the heavy ax, closed my eyes and swung it as hard as I could.

Nothing.

I woke up to the loud ticking of a clock. I didn't open my eyes because I did not want to know where I was or what was happening.

My head hurt and I felt dizzy. I know that I'm not dead because I feel pain- lots of it, especially the side of my face. I placed my finger tips on my right cheek and screeched. I never felt so much pain in my life. It felt like my cheek was on fire.

In an instant, I heard footsteps down the hallway.
