Everyday I hear stories about dogs. I hear so many stories about them getting abused, killed, or abandoned. The best stories are the ones where they are getting saved and taken out of the miserable places. All animals deserve a chance, but for today we will talk about dogs. Dogs are "Man's Best friend" they Say. Sure, it's true, but not when they get used and treated horribly. I'm not saying this is everyone. It's just a big problem that we all need to get together and stop. First thing you need to know is the problems. You can't help if you don't know the actual problems that hurt dogs. Let's start with Puppy Mills. Puppy Mills themselves aren't illegal. It's the conditions. They often don't pass laws of caging, medical attention, land, and care. Puppy Mills are places where they take female dogs and breed litter after litter their whole life. They have to do this in horrible conditions, with little food, water, and medical attention. No dog should ever have to live through this. Even the puppies are treated horribly. This is where the dogs from pet stores are from. Not all of them, but most. This is why we highly encourage you to adopt. Next up: Dog Fights. Dog fighting is a sport where people get dogs and force them to fight each other. Until one is dead or can't continue. All though it is illegal all over United States, it is still a problem, that we are trying hard to fight. Next would be abandonment. So many dogs are found homeless everyday. The biggest reason would be care and money. It would also be the people. So many would buy a puppy because it's all cute, but later find out it's alot more work. They also don't want to deal with it when it isn't as cute when it grows up. The least you could do is give them up to the shelter or at least other people. No animal should mentally go through that. The feeling of no love or life.
Well you've heard some of the problems that no dog and even animal should ever go through. They don't have a voice. We are their voice. We need to stand up for what's right!
