I smelled smoke and I heard the loud sound of something burning. I started coughing. What is that? I thought. So I opened my eyes, to see that the forest was burning. My eyes widened, and my pupils shrank. Then I saw a flaming tree about to collapse on the den I made out of twigs. I ran out of the small den. I thought, Is this a dream? it's got to be a dream....if it is, I want to wake up right now! I looked behind me to see that there was a trail of flames behind me. I gasped and ran fast as i could through the flaming forest. I then tripped on something sharp and jagged. I know it wasn't a rock though. I fell forwards but I felt someone's furry paws catch me by the waist. But i was too dizzy from inhaling all that smoke. So then I blacked out. but there was pain rushing through my leg.
