Chapter 2

As I stared at Heisuke with a probably stupid face blushing he turned to me. I was scared. He got up from his place and set the tea cup down and smiled. He started to walk over. 

"H-h-hi..." I said in a quiet voice blushing.

"Oh you're up." He said in a calm voice. The same thing Charlotte said before i passed out again.

"So you're Heisuke, correct?" I said a little louder, but my voice was still a little wobbly.

"Yeah. I am. Charlotte's brother."

"So, uhm..why did you save me?"

"I saved you because I didn't want to feel guilty for me to just run away from the fire without saving someone."

"Well I appreciate it." 

Heisuke smiled a little. "Well I'm sorry for it to be all of a sudden for someone you don't even know to save you." He said.

"No, it's fine..." I said, blushing even harder. I bet my face was as red as a tomato by now. 

"Your face is pretty red, are you okay?" He said with a little laugh. "Ill get you some water." He said walking towards a sink made out of bamboo and wood.

"N-n-no it's fine.." I said. 

"You sure?" He said then stopped.

"Yeah I'm sure..."

"Your voice is trailing off a lot. Is everything all right?" 

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just-"

"Crushing?" Charlotte said walking into the room with a basket of herbs. I jumped up in surprise. 

"N-n-n-o!"  I said with my face even redder than an apple. Heisuke just stood there with a surprised look on his face.

"Yes." Charlotte said with a look on her face.

"No!"

"Yuh-huh."

"Nuh-uh!"

Heisuke just looked back and fourth as we argued. 

"Stop!" Heisuke said. Both of our heads turned. We both looked at him in silence.

"Uh...sorry Heisuke." Charlotte said looking at him "Heh heh heh.." she trailed off. Heisuke groaned. "That is enough arguing today." He said. He walked upstairs. I sighed and looked at Charlotte. "Don't you DARE get any closer to him or I will hurt you." I heard Charlotte whisper in my ear. She walked away to the upstairs.  I sighed and laid down. Then Heisuke came downstairs and said. "Sorry about that. Charlotte is a little too much of a control freak, and too possessive sometimes."

"I-I-I can tell...."

"Wanna go for a walk?"

"Sure..but remeber my leg?"

"Yea, it's cut pretty deep. Just use these crutches." Then he grabbed some crutches from the corner and gave them to me.

"Th-th-thanks..." I got out of the 'bed' and started to walk with the crutches. We went out of the door. This wasn't the same forest i was in...It was...the town! I stared blanked in shock. Wha-wha-what? Why are we in town?! I've never been in town before! I thought. "Welcome to Chōjōtekina kimyōna machi!" Heisuke said. I gasped and  stred into the distance.

"T-t-t-town?" I said.
