【Y/N's POV】

I'm still making my way home, and I feel someone's presence behind me. I stop and turn around to Light Yagami. He seemed startled by my sudden movement. "Light, why are you following me?" I raised an eyebrow, he seemed to be... blushing? "Wow, ironic..." I thought to myself. "I'm not following you, I'm simply walking home, the coincidence is that I live near you. Two houses down, to be exact." I sighed, "Why didn't I notice this before..?" "Well, next time please tell me when you're walking with me, I almost used my pocket knife on you.." Light seemed sort of shocked, but at the same time.. impressed? Well, I have no time to be distracted by him, I need to finish some work anyway.

I've fallen down..
This world a million times...

I finally made it my house and stopped by the front lawn. Light stopped as well, with a slight frown on his face. "Well, I guess this is your house, right?" His voice sounded disappointed, I nodded anyway. "Yeah, but my (mom/dad/parents) (is/are) at work-" I rubbed the back of my neck anxiously. "Would you like to come in and hang out for a while?" He smiled, "Sure, I would love to-" I smiled and nodded, "Great! Come on in!" I opened the door and we walked in, well, Light walked in calmly- I went into Sonic mode, and ran inside the kitchen. "Tea lovers unite!" I heard Light chuckle a little, but I just continued making tea. "I'm so hilarious, hehehe..!"

I've got the battle scars, I've earned my stripes..

【Light's POV】

"She's so adorable- Wait, I'm running out of time.." I calmly waited for (Y/N) to come back; but, being me, I'm a very impatient person. She finally came back with a tray of two cups filled with Earl Grey Tea and set them down on the convenient coffee table in front of me. (Y/N) got settled down in her seat, on the opposite side of the table facing me. We were in awkward silence for about 5 minutes, but luckily, she finally spoke up. "So, uhm, Kira is such a big topic today.. And I was wondering, what you think about him or her?"

I'd rather be right and go down with a fight..
Than be wrong and on top of the game...

(Y/N) drank her tea slowly, careful not to burn herself. I did the same, then replied to her question. "I am actually a supporter of Kira, I believe he's doing the right thing. A true way of justice.." She nodded and put her cup down on the tray. "I, myself, support Kira as well. But, I beg to differ with your opinion." I raised an eyebrow and put my tea down on the tray in front of me, trying to hide a smile. "Oh? Why is that?"

"Well first of all, if he was truly justice, why would he kill people? I know that they're criminals he's killing, but still, there needs to some mercy while he's killing them." I nodded, pretending to agree with her. "They deserve to be killed in that such a way! They're an abomination to society!!" (Y/N) continued, as she took another drink of her tea. "Secondly, I don't like his whole 'God' concept, I'm sure as hell he just wants to be feared!" (Y/N) huffed and crossed her arms slightly, I had to admit, I liked this side to her. "So fiesty, heh.." "I'm sure he just wants to scare the criminals, not the people-" Her head turned slightly and nodded, "I suppose you're right.."

I've been through the lion's den,
Not going back again..

"(Y/N).." She jerked her head up, her (h/c) locks bouncing slightly. "Yes, Light?" Her voice could soothe me right to sleep. "I want to tell you, that I am Kira.." I whispered the last part to her, she had a surprised expression on her face. "I-I.... I knew it.." I smirked a little a her, "You did? That's what I fell in love with, (Y/N).." She looked at me with wide eyes, as I drew closer to her, my lips almost touching hers. "Not only did I feel an attraction to your looks and personality, I fell in love with your intelligence."

【Y/N's POV】

Light cupped my face with his hands softly pulling me into a passionate kiss, I had to admit, I was really surprised. "Kira.. Loves me-?" So many thoughts ran through my mind, but I knew, that he loved me. I slowly wrapped my arms around his neck, he was a passionate and sweet, rough kisser. We finally broke the kiss for air and he smiled. "Do you still think I am not God?" I smirked at him, slightly playing with his hair. "No." Light made a devilish smirk as he cupped my chin with one hand and stroked my cheek with the other. "I'll show you how God-like I am sooner or later.." He pecked me on the lips one more time, before we started to tidy up.

✝ Extended Ending (of this chapter) [No One's POV] ✝

As Light walked out of (Y/N)'s house his shinigami started to bother him, again. "Well that took forever!" Ryuk stretched as Light looked up at him slightly, rolling his eyes. "But, hey your new girlfriend is kind of nice-looking!" Light immediately jerked his head up to face Ryuk. "I thought shinigami weren't supposed to feel anything for humans-" The shinigami put his hands up as he floated around an annoyed Light. "Hey, all I did was give her a compliment! Don't take things so harshly Light!" The brunette looked back at the road he was walking, then finally made it to his house. He immediately went up to room, with saying 'Hello' to his little sister and mother of course, and shut the door. The shinigami was to nag him more, but luckily Light gave 2 apples. Ryuk took the apples enthusiastically, and ate them as Light smirked to himself. "With a supportive Goddess by my side, who is as intelligent as I am, nobody can stop me.. Not even the World's Greatest Detective..." The brunette chuckled to himself before letting out maniacal laugh. The apple-loving shinigami was taken back by Light's behavior, but he chuckled himself, before eating his second apple. "Humans are so... Interesting.."
