The men burst through the front door with hand pistols aimed and ready.
"Saddenville police department! Is anyone in here?" The lieutenant yelled out into the quiet house, but got no reply.
He signaled with his hand for the other officers to check the rooms. He went upstairs with two officers following him. While they checked the bathroom and guest room, he went to check the master.
What he found would haunt him for a long time.
The room was a blood bath, filled with the bodies of dead women. Their limbs ripped away from their bodies, and what appeared to be their hearts
were torn out and lying not too far away from each body.
And on the wall over the bed, in blood, the murderer had written a message,
"I WILL FIND HER."
