I looked up at the house that my uncle just bought with shock. I'd read about this place 'The Murder House' what an original name. I had no idea why we left Orlando but I accepted it because, well, where else was I supposed to go? My dead beat mother decided when I was three that she couldn't handle the pressure of having a child. Considering, from what I remember she wasn't even close to the definition if motherly. My Uncle refused to let me be 'lost from the family' so he took me in. We walked up to the front door, only as we just reached the door a lady cleared her throat from behind us. I snapped my head around to see this mystery lady. The woman had red hair and a quite off putting eye colour difference in her eyes.
"Hello" She greeted and extended her hand. Uncle Pete took it staring at her face, it almost looked like he was in a trance.
"My name is Moira, I've been a maid here for many years and would like to offer my services" She stated formally. Something about her was extremely off putting but I couldn't quite figure out what.
"Well Moira, We'll need some time to think it over but perhaps we could use your help" He sounded so formal, very strange for him.
"I shall return tomorrow for your answer then" Moira said then turned and began walking away.
"Well that was strange" I said to him
"Tell me about it" he chuckled.
"Let's go inside before we get anymore strange visitors" he said patting my head and turning to face the door. He swung the door open to reveal a magnificently beautiful house.
"Well I guess we're home" Pete said cheerfully
"Yeah, home" I whispered.
