As I walked into the Starbucks, Grayson was sitting in one of those big comfy chairs sipping on an iced coffee. He was on his phone, passing the time. I felt like I couldn't move. I was standing I the entrance staring at him. Wow. This was really happening. A man with long hair and sketchy clothes bumped into me and I snapped back into reality. I started to walk towards Grayson. "Hey!" I said happily to him. I was trying to stay calm. "Oh hey!" Grayson smiled. He got up and handed me a drink. " I hope you like iced coffee." He said. I grabbed the drink from him and smiled. "I do. Thank you. " I said. "So, how was your day?" He asked as he sat back down. I sat in the chair next to him. "It was fine. I had a dance audition this morning. It ended early." I explained. "Oh cool! You dance?" "Yeah. My parents make me. I don't really like it much." I said. "Why?" He asked me. I looked down and started playing with the string on my sweatshirt. "It's just not my thing I guess. I've been doing it since I was little but I just can't get into it. People way I'm really good at it but I don't know." I explained. Then he did something that made my heart stop. He laid his hand on top of mine. "I'm sure you're great. But you should do something that you like." He said, looking into my eyes. "Yeah." Was all I could say. My mind was fixated on his hand on top of mine. He then got up and ask me, "so, have you ever seen the Statue of Liberty?" "No. I haven't." I stated. "Well, let's go then!" He grabbed my hand and lead me out of the Starbucks. We walked across the street and down the side walk. There were so many people. We were crowded. "Wow. There's so many people"! I yelled. "What?!" He yelled back. It was so loud. I couldn't even hear myself think. He walk in front of me and lead us through the crowds of people. When we finally got to the Statue of Liberty, it was already 2:00 pm. We walked towards the statue. It was huge. We went as close as we could to the statue. It was amazing. I stared at it in amazement when I noticed Grayson looking at me. "It's so beautiful." I said. "Yea. But not as beautiful as you." He said and smiled. I turned red. I couldn't believe he just said that to me. He thinks I'm beautiful? Oh my god. I looked down and smiled at the ground. I felt a warm touch on my hand and then realized his hand was on top of mine. "Why did you want to meet me again? I'm just another fan of yours. I asked. "There was something special about you. I knew I had to see you again." He answered. I felt a tingle in my stomach. Then, I saw Grayson leaning in towards me. He was going to kiss me. I closed my eyes and waited for his lips to touch mine. My stomach was turning and my heart was racing. Then my phone started to ring. I opened my eyes and signed. Grayson stopped and leaned back. I smiled apologetically and looked at my phone. It was my dad. "Hello?" I answered. "Where the hell are you?" He yelled. Grayson looked at me,worried. "I'm at the Statue of Liberty. Ill be home soon." "You said you would be home by 2:30! It is now 2:45!" He screamed through the phone. "Okay okay. I'll be phone is a half hour. I'm sorry." I said. He hung up. I sighed as I put my phone back in my purse. "I have to go." I said quietly to Grayson. "Everything okay?" He asked. "Yeah. My dad's mad cause I was suppose to be home 15 minutes ago." I sighed. I started to walk away when a hand grabbed my arm and turned me around. "Well I can't let you leave angry." He said and kissed me. My heart starting beating faster and faster as he put on hand on my cheek and the other on my waist. I wrapped my hands around his neck and kissed him back. He started to kiss me harder and pulled me closer. Then he stopped at looked at me in the eyes. "You're a good kisser." He smiled. "Thank you. You're a great kisser." I laughed. "I'll walk you back to your hotel." He said and grabbed my hand. My heart wouldn't stop racing.
